The story of the game involves Kano freeing his gang, the Black Dragon ( Tasia, Tremor, No Face and Jarek ) from a maximum security prison and Jax, seeking revenge for the slaughter of his Special Forces comrades at the hands of the Black Dragon, undertakes a mission to stop them from retrieving an artifact of great power, the Eye of Chitian.

The working title for this story was " Captain Jax ".

" As it turns out, Cage has been telling the story to a disbelieving Jax and Agent Beran ( a reference to Mortal Kombat series art director Steve Beran ), who is more open to the story considering Cage has recounted the story five times with exactly the same details each time.

In the following Battlewave series, he remained on Earth after his defeat, and, to appease for his failure, started hunting down the Earthrealm warriors ; he injured Jax in battle but was unable to defeat Liu Kang.

The program is based on the Universal Press Syndicate syndicated comic strip You Can with Beakman and Jax created by Jok Church.

Terrel helps the Ancient and discovers the truth about his birth, but Jax betrays him out of spite and despite Terrel saving Vadanis ( which the selfish and greedy Jax took credit for ), he is exiled, put on a raft in the wake of the floating islands and, in all probability, die in the unforgiving ocean.

Jax garners 80 percent of its revenue from Sequence ; Reuter receives a royalty on sales of sequence.

The assembled warriors included Liu Kang ( Brian Tochi ), Stryker ( Ron Perlman ), Sonya Blade ( Olivia d ' Abo ), Jax ( Dorian Harewood ), Kitana ( Cree Summer ), and Sub-Zero ( Luke Perry ), with Nightwolf ( Todd Thawley ) functioning mostly as tech support but still entering the fray on various occasions.

In his desire to help Sonya, Jax relies on brains instead of brawn to defeat Komodai on his own.

Though Jax has learned not to rely on his strength-enhancing arms for his self-confidence, he decides to use them anyway as a tactical advantage.

When Jair and Slanter return, having saved Brin, they find Garet Jax sitting against a wall, his sword still held in his hand and looking like he might even be sleeping, but on closer inspection they realize the Weapons Master is dead.

Carly, having vowed to distance herself and her family from Sonny, approaches Alexis and asks her for help in keeping their children away from Sonny, but Alexis, openly skeptical that Carly is ready to give up being Sonny's enabler, flatly refuses to help her, reminding her of Kristina's rebellion and car-bomb injuries the year before as a direct result of her trying to keep Kristina and Sonny apart, and subsequently gives Carly a verbal scalding, telling her that what happened to Jax is just as much her fault as Sonny's because she riled Sonny up and set him on Jax in the first place.

Jax is reluctant to join Shao Kahn's tournament but is spurred on when Cage reveals Agent Beran has been killed.

Garet Jax is a fictional character from Terry Brooks ' epic fantasy novel The Wishsong of Shannara.

Though Alexis aids Jax in his attempts, she is fully aware that Jax is being unreasonable and continually urges him to try and compromise with Carly to no avail ; recalling that her attempts to keep Kristina safe from Sonny's violent world did nothing but convince Kristina that her father didn't love her, Alexis fears that Jax may make the same mistake with Josslyn.

Included are Hollywood movie star Johnny Cage, the Princess Kitana, the monk Kung Lao, the Lin Kuei Grandmaster Sub-Zero, the Black Dragon mercenary Kano, the Zaterran warrior Reptile, the Ninja specter Scorpion and Special Forces Major Jax Briggs, Lieutenant Sonya Blade and the cyborg Cyrax.

Frost, Jax, Sub-Zero, Kano, Kung Lao, Kenshi, Kitana, Li Mei, and Sonya are included only in the first Deadly Alliance port.

The PlayStation ( PSX ), Sega Saturn, and PC versions also contain alternate versions of Jax, Kung Lao, Kano and Raiden as they appeared in the first or second game, as they were the only actors who returned as special characters in the game ; Ho Sung Pak ( Liu Kang ), Philip Ahn ( Shang Tsung ), Elizabeth Malecki ( Sonya Blade ), Katalin Zamiar ( Kitana / Mileena / Jade ) and Dan Pesina ( Johnny Cage and Scorpion / Sub-Zero / Reptile / Smoke ) left Midway prior to the production of MK3 due to royalty disputes.

He was credited with developing the detailed Mortal Kombat storylines and designing its classic characters, including Baraka, Cyrax, Goro, Jade, Jax, Johnny Cage, Kano, Kitana, Kung Lao, Liu Kang, Mileena, Nightwolf, Noob Saibot, Raiden, Reptile, Scorpion, Sektor, Shang Tsung, Shao Kahn, Sheeva, Sindel, Smoke, Sonya Blade, Stryker and Sub-Zero.

As a result, Jax loses his self-confidence, and Sonya returns to the place of battle to look for them, but is soon abducted by Komodai.

Because there are also other battles to be fought, the Earth Warriors combat Sheeva's Shokan warriors, while Jax searches for Sonya.

Jax, Sonya and Kitana suddenly disappear through a portal that the other Earth Warriors cannot pass through.

A few miles away, Kano and some members of his Black Dragon gang are in a jeep, attempting to evade Sonya Blade, Agent Beran ( whose name is not revealed here ), and a man who is apparently Jax, as well as the rest of a U. S. Special Forces unit.

Jax then contacts Sonya and tells her she is needed to investigate an interdimensional flux in southwestern China and a helicopter piloted by Johnny Cage is sent to pick her up.

Sonya, grief-stricken would then be partnered up with Jax.

Sylence is a member of the U. S. Special Forces she is in the same squad as Jax and Sonya In appearance she has pale skin and purple hair, no pupils and uses push dagger as a weapon.
