Fred Theodore Klym ( September 28, 1907 in Brokenhead, Manitoba, ( son of Fred Klym and Maria Molinski ) – November 25, 1988 ) was a politician in Manitoba, Canada.

Klym later switched to the Progressive Conservative Party, and was first elected to the Manitoba legislature in the 1959 provincial election, defeating Liberal-Progressive incumbent William Lucko by 371 votes in the Winnipeg-area riding of Springfield.

In 1146, the next Ruthenian bishop, Klym Smoliatych ( Kliment of Smolensk ), was appointed to serve as the Metropolitan of Kiev.

In the 1959 election, he lost his seat to Progressive Conservative Fred Klym by 371 votes.

Lucko attempted to return to the legislature in the provincial elections of 1962 and 1966, but lost to Fred Klym on both occasions.

Copp won the Liberal-Progressive nomination for St. Clements in the spring of 1953, defeating Fred Klym by six votes.
