When combining Cities and Knights with Seafarers, the rules are ambiguous with regards to whether commodities are collected along with normal resources when collecting from a Gold River tile, as well as whether or not commodities can be collected directly from Gold River tiles.

Knights are units that require continuous maintenance through their activation mechanism, but have a wide variety of functions.

Knights are placed on the board in a similar manner to settlements, and can be used to block opposing roads, active or not.

Knights cannot perform actions on the same turn they are activated, but can be reactivated on the same turn as performing an action.

City walls are a minor addition to Cities and Knights that increase the number of resource and commodity cards a player is allowed in their hand before having to discard on a roll of 7.

It does not include the Development Card cost as those cards are not used in a Cities and Knights game.

It also includes the cost of a ship, which are not used in a regular game of Cities and Knights, but presumably this is to cater for players who have combined Cities and Knights and Seafarers.

The Seafarers rules and scenarios are also, for the most part, compatible with Cities and Knights of Catan and Catan: Traders & Barbarians.

When combined with Cities and Knights, the rules state that you are not allowed to take commodities instead of resources if a city is nearby.

They are sometimes used unofficially-such as amateur radio operators operating in a disputed territory or in a nation state that has no official prefix ( e. g. S0 in Western Sahara or station 1A0 at Knights of Malta headquarters in Rome ).

There is no clear historical connection between the Knights Templar, which were dismantled in the 14th century, and any of the modern organizations, of which the earliest emerged publicly in the 18th century, and are referred to as Neo-Templars by some authors.

The Knights who say Ni are a band of knights from the comedy film Monty Python and the Holy Grail, feared for the manner in which they utter the word " ni " (, like knee but clipped short ).

However the legend says that coat of arms was granted by King Władysław Łokietek to a peasant soldier ( and his family ) after the Battle of Płowce ( 1331 ) in which the Polish armies defeated the 40, 000-strong force of the Teutonic Knights with minimal casualties.
