The Later Yan (; 384-407 or 409 ) was a Murong-Xianbei state, located in modern day northeast China, during the era of Sixteen Kingdoms in China.

He proclaimed himself the Prince of Chengdu ( 成都王 Chéngdū Wáng ) in 405 and was given the title " Prince of Shu " ( 蜀王 Shù Wáng ) by Yao Xing, ruler of the Later Qin, in 409.
