Prince Aimone of Savoy-Aosta, Duke of Aosta ( given names: Aimone Roberto Margherita Maria Giuseppe Torino ; 9 March 1900 – 29 January 1948 ) was a prince of Italy's reigning House of Savoy and an officer of the Royal Italian Navy.

In recognition of his services he was created Knight of the Annunziata by Victor Emmanuel III on the occasion of the birth of Princess Yolanda Margherita of Savoy ( June 1, 1901 ).

Three years later the king Umberto I visited Caltanissetta along with his wife Margherita of Savoy and his son Victor Emmanuel III.

They were married on 4 May 1836 and Margherita gave birth to two children, Virginia Maria Luigia ( 26 March 1837 – 12 August 1838 ) and Icilio Romano ( 11 July 1838 – 22 October 1839 ).

He married Maria Maddalena of Austria, with whom he had his eight children, including Margherita de ' Medici, Ferdinando II de ' Medici, and an Anna de ' Medici.

After the death of his wife, he never remarried but was father to another eleven illegitimate children from 1600 onwards by the following mistresses, Luisa de Duing, Argentina Provana, Catherine de Roussillon ( mother of Margherita di Savoia who was an ancestor of Maria Teresa Cybo-Malaspina ), Virginia Pallavicino, Anna Caterina Meraviglia and Anna Felizita Cusa.

Maria Clementina and James Francis Edward were formally married on 3 September 1719 in the Chapel of episcopal palace of Montefiascone, Italy in the Cathedral of Santa Margherita.

Mary of Modena ( Maria Beatrice Anna Margherita Isabella d ' Este ; – ) was Queen consort of England, Scotland and Ireland as the second wife of King James II and VII.

Prince Aimone Roberto Margherita Maria Giuseppe Torino of Savoy-Aosta was born in Turin the second son of Prince Emanuele Filiberto, Duke of Aosta ( eldest son of Prince Amedeo, 1st Duke of Aosta ( and sometime " King Amadeo I of Spain ") by his wife, née Vittoria dal Pozzo, Principessa della Cisterna ) and Princess Hélène of Orléans ( daughter of Philippe, comte de Paris and Princess Marie Isabelle of Orléans ).

Marie Louise was born in Rome in 1870 as Maria Luisa Pia Teresa Anna Ferdinanda Francesca Antonietta Margherita Giuseppina Carolina Bianca Lucia Apollonia di Borbone-Parma, the eldest daughter of Robert I, Duke of Parma and his first wife, Princess Maria Pia of Bourbon-Two Sicilies.

He married Cleyde Maria Margarida Cinatti, daughter of Italian parents Giuseppe Luigi Cinatti ( son of Luigi Cinatti and wife Maria Nicolina ...) and wife Margherita Rivolto ( daughter of Giacomo Rivolto and wife Margherita Sertorio ), and had issue:
