They recruited fiddler Paul Burgess, percussionist Martin Brinsford and the Fraser Sisters ( Fi and Jo ).

The line-up on this recording was John Adams ( trombone, fiddle ), Martin Brinsford ( percussion ), Paul Burgess ( fiddle ), Fi Fraser ( fiddle ), Jo Freya ( tenor saxophone, whistle ), Neil Gledhill ( bass saxophone ), Flos Headford ( fiddle ) and Heather Horsley ( keyboard ).

Brass Monkey was formed with the addition of Williams and Brinsford after initially being billed as The Martin Carthy Band.

The band's line-up currently comprises Tim Burgess ( vocals ), Mark Collins ( guitar ), Martin Blunt ( bass ), Tony Rogers ( keyboards ) and Jon Brookes ( drums and percussion ).

He was noted for his performance in the live video In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up ( Live ), which featured not only his precision percussion ( alongside fellow drummer Martin Atkins ), but Rieflin's genteel fashion sense.

Medeski Martin & Wood ( or MMW ) is an American jazz trio formed in 1991, consisting of John Medeski on keyboards and piano, Billy Martin on drums and percussion, and Chris Wood on double bass and bass guitar.

By this time their ranks had swelled to include Selwyn " Bumbo " Brown ( keyboards ), Steve " Grizzly " Nisbett ( drums ), Alphonso Martin ( vocals, percussion ) and Mykaell Riley ( vocals ).
