Codarini and Toorish had formed a group with two other St. Michael's students, Rudi Maugeri and John Perkins, who were later to become founding members of another group, The Crew-Cuts.

When the Four Lads returned to Toronto for a homecoming concert, John Perkins and Maugeri ran into each other and decided that they could themselves have a musical future.

When Maugeri and Perkins left the group to concentrate on their schoolwork, Codarini and Toorish joined with Arnold and Busseri in a new quartet.

In May, 2009 Mr. Lasko was named Artist in Residence to the City of Chicago's Office of Tourism, Department of Cultural Affairs and he took leave of Redmoon for a two year period during which Mr. Maugeri acted as Artistic Director.

Although their first hit, " Crazy ' Bout You, Baby ," was written by Maugeri and Barrett themselves, they quickly became specialists in cover recordings of originally-R & B songs.

As of January, 2011, Mr. Lasko has returned from his stint with The City of Chicago to co-lead Redmoon with Mr. Maugeri.

Under Mr. Maugeri, Redmoon continued to grow its reputation for creating theater in unexpected places.
