Mohammed Yasser Abdel Rahman Abdel Raouf Arafat al-Qudwa al-Husseini (‎; 24 August 192911 November 2004 ), popularly known as Yasser Arafat () or by his kunya Abu Ammar (, ) was a Palestinian leader.
