TVT-6 ( since known as TasTV, now WIN Television ) took on a Nine Network affiliation, with Southern Cross carrying both Seven and Ten programming.

Super Bowl XXVI was telecast in over 100 countries around the world, including Australia ( Network Ten ), Canada ( CTV ), Mexico ( Canal 5 ) and the United Kingdom ( Channel 4 ).

In addition to the United States, this Super Bowl was also broadcast in Canada on CTV, in Mexico on Canal 5, in Australia on Network Ten and the United Kingdom on Channel 4.

The first commercial networks in Australia involved commercial stations in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and later Perth, sharing programming, with each network forming networks based on their allocated channel numbers: TCN-9 Sydney, GTV-9 Melbourne, QTQ-9 Brisbane, NWS-9 Adelaide and STW-9 Perth together formed the Nine Network, while their equivalents on VHF channels 7 and 10 formed the Seven Network and Network Ten respectively.

From the 2007 season onwards the Seven Network returned as the official V8 Supercars broadcaster, after Network Ten had shown the series for almost a decade after taking the rights from Seven in 1997, ending Seven's 35 year reign as the official broadcaster of V8 Supercars.

Network Ten continues to broadcast V8 Supercar once a year when they appear on the support program for the Australian Grand Prix, a Network Ten broadcast event.

Young Talent Time ( YTT ), is an Australian television variety program screened on Network Ten.

The show was revived by Network Ten in 2012 and is hosted by musician and actor Rob Mills.

The final episode (# 804 ) aired on Network Ten at 7. 30pm on Friday 23 December 1988.

The first episode (# 1 ) of the 2012 series aired on Network Ten at 6. 30pm on Sunday 22 January 2012.

Many of the episodes from the early-mid 1970s no longer exist as the tapes were wiped for re-use, being the official Network Ten policy at the time.

In 1985, The Nashville Network began airing an edited half-hour version of the program as Grand Ole Opry Live ; the show moved to Country Music Television and CMT Canada in 2001 ( expanding to an hour in the process ), and then to the Great American Country ( GAC ) cable network in 2003.
