Januarie's brothers are named Placebo and Justinus: the former a sycophant, whose name in Latin means ' I will please ', and the latter a fairer man (' the just one ') with no individual motive.

In November, he joined Placebo on stage at their Wembley Arena gig to sing the band's hit song " Without You I'm Nothing ", as well as The Cure staple " Boys Don't Cry ".

After the Wembley gig, Placebo went on a short Once More With Feeling tour in South America.
