In the United Kingdom World Refugee Day is celebrated as part of Refugee Week.

Launched during Refugee Week 2011, the film has received international recognition.

One of the organisation ’ s primary calendar events is Refugee Week Scotland.

During Refugee Week Scotland, hundreds of events exploring refugee experiences take place across Scotland.

Refugee Week 2012 will take place from 18-24 June.

The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees ( UNHCR ), also known as The UN Refugee Agency is a United Nations agency mandated to protect and support refugees at the request of a government or the UN itself and assists in their voluntary repatriation, local integration or resettlement to a third country.

It is separate from UNHCR, ( 1950 ), the UN Refugee Agency, which is the only other UN agency aiding refugees, dedicated to aiding all refugees in the world.

The World Refugee Survey 2008, published by the U. S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants, estimates that 110, 600 Somali refugees lived in Yemen in 2007, which is a fraction of the estimated 700, 000-strong Somali nationals already living and working in Yemen.

In 1988, Bhutan was reported to have evicted some number of Nepali-speaking residents ( Bhutanese reports say about 5, 000 and Refugee reports says over 100, 000 ) from districts in southern Bhutan, creating a large refugee community that is now being detained in seven temporary United Nations refugee camps in Nepal and Sikkim.

Title IV of the Immigration and Nationality Act was amended here when the Act created the Office of Refugee Resettlement, which is responsible for funding and administering federal programs for domestic resettlement and assistance to refugees.

The goal of the Refugee Act was to create a uniform procedure with which to provide these opportunities to refugees.

Selected on 27 April 1975, the installation served as one of four main U. S.
