Transformative economics was derived from Progressive Utilization Theory ( PROUT ) — a social philosophy developed by Indian philosopher Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar in 1959.

The movement believes in the values and objectives explained by the socioeconomic theory called PROUT, founded by Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar.

Progressive utilization theory or PROUT is a socio-economic theory first mentioned in 1959 and fully outlined in 1962 by Indian philosopher and spiritual leader Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar ( 1921 – 1990 ).

Gilbert and Sarkar distinguish organicism from holism to avoid what they see as the vitalistic or spritualistic connotations of holism.

Sarkar was the founder of Ananda Marga ( the Path of Bliss ), a spiritual and social organization that offers instruction in meditation, yoga and other self-development practices on a non-commercial basis, as well as a variety of social programs such as preschools in disadvantaged areas, disaster relief teams, and other activities.

Ananda Marga was founded by a Jamalpur native Shrii Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar ( Shrii Shrii Anandamurti ) in 1955.

Sarkar, while working as a railway official, formed the first chapter of Ananda Marga ( Path of Bliss ) in Jamalpur, Bihar, India and continued there until 1967 when he moved his headquarters to Ranchi and took up organisational work full-time.

The last Wali of the Lower Tanawal ( headquarter Sherwan ) was Sultan Qiyasuddin, the younger brother of Sultan Memood Khurd, who was the last Turk ruler in Hazara ( Pakhli Sarkar ). Pakhli Sarkar got a last blow when Syed Jala Shah commenly known as Jalal Baba conspired against his own father in Law i. e. Sultan Memood Khrurd.
