Lilith Sternin starts as a one-time character in the Season 4 episode, " Second Time Around " ( 1985 ), but then she becomes a recurring character since Season 5 ( 1986 – 87 ), although she is a permanent character for Seasons 10 and 11 ( 1991 – 93 ).

* In HBO TV series True Blood, Season 2-Episodes 5 and 6, a hotel in Dallas Texas has been built for Vampires called " Hotel Carmilla.

* In the Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode entitled Him ( Season 7, Episode 6, aired November 5, 2002 ), Dawn Summers ( Michelle Trachtenberg ) is called into the principal's office to answer some questions about a boy who fell down the stairs under suspicious circumstances.

In Season 5 the television series The L Word, the issue of public outing is addressed in the form of Alice Pieszecki, a web-journalist, outing a basketball player who made offensive comments toward gay people while himself being gay.

* In Season 5, Episode 22: " The Children's Parade " of the TV show Ghost Whisperer, Melinda Gordon investigates a poltergeist in a hospital.

* In an episode of the 1970s TV series The Waltons, called the Changeling, ( Season 7 Episode 5 ) Elizabeth Walton, who is turning thirteen, sees a chair a banging up and down, a vase breaking itself, a rag doll changing position, and various other strange activities, which disappear immediately after she declares her fear and anger on the night of her slumber party.

On August 5, 2008, the remastered Season 2 was released on DVD only.

Season 5

* On July 30, 2009, a Broadway-style dance version of " Send in the Clowns ", choreographed by Tyce Diorio, was shown to open So You Think You Can Dance ( Season 5 Episode 21 ) Top 6 Results.

The musical score of Xena: Warrior Princess was critically well received and garnered seven Emmy nominations for LoDuca, who won the Emmy award for Outstanding Music Composition for a Series ( Dramatic Underscore ) for the Season 5 episode Fallen Angel in 2000.

Two of these albums contain the soundtracks from the musical episodes " The Bitter Suite " ( Season 3 ) and " Lyre, Lyre, Hearts on Fire " ( Season 5 ).

* The last few minutes of the Season 4 finale and Season 5 of Desperate Housewives is set in this year.

Nimoy provided the voice of Spock as a guest star in a Season 5 episode of the CBS sitcom, The Big Bang Theory.

Season 5: Season 5 had a " Close but No Cigar " week to decide who would join the seven undefeated winners in the normal tournament.

Willow appears in every Buffy episode ( making her the only character besides Buffy herself to do so ), is featured in three episodes of the spinoff Angel, an animated series and video game — both of which use Hannigan's voice, and the comic Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Eight ( 2007 – 2011 ), which uses Hannigan's likeness and continues Willow's storyline following the television series.

Season three ( 1998 – 1999 ) sees Buffy reconnect to her calling, her friends, and her family after her departure, as well as make difficult life decisions regarding her relationship with the resurrected Angel.

Season six ( 2001 – 2002 ) depicts Buffy's struggle with depression and loss after being ripped out of a place like Heaven by her friends, who thinking she is trapped in a Hell dimension, perform a spell to bring her back from the dead.

In Season Eight ( 2007 – 11 ), it establishes Buffy is not living with the Immortal in Rome which is simply a cover story to ensure her safety as she is now the leader of a global organization which recruits and trains Slayers to deal with demonic threats worldwide.
