In 2012, Dalhousie announced a new Faculty of Agriculture, the result of a merger with the Nova Scotia Agricultural College.

Dalhousie ’ s Faculty of Agriculture varsity teams are referred to as the Dalhousie Rams, and compete in the ACAA, and as members of the CCAA.

On September 1, 2012, the Nova Scotia Agricultural College merged with Dalhousie University to become the Dalhousie University Faculty of Agriculture, at Dalhousie ’ s Agricultural Campus in Truro-Bible Hill, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Carleton currently houses the university's medical and dentistry schools, as well as the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre, while the Dalhousie Agricultural Campus hosts the Faculty of Agriculture.
