" Southern Lights: Spectacular Sights on Holiday Nights ", taking place from November 18 to December 31, is held at the Kentucky Horse Park.

The village borders on Dulwich Park, where the Dulwich Horse and Motor Show is held every year ( it was here that the new Toyota Corolla made its first UK appearance at a motor show in 1997 ).

East Bay Regional Park District's Iron Horse Regional Trail will join the Bay Trail along the waterfront, and the Contra Costa Canal Trail threads through the city from Pleasant Hill to the south.

First Baptist Church of Conyers moved out of downtown in late 2000, moving about two miles or three kilometers south of the Georgia International Horse Park to their current location.

For this, Conyers built the Georgia International Horse Park.

Presently 3 wells operate in open areas, one located in the downtown area, another on the Southeast edge of the community, and another in West Side Park, on the west edge of town area where Fourth of July celebrations were once held, locally referred to as " The Jubilee ", in conjunction with an annual Horse Show.

In Egypt the New Zealand Mounted Rifles and Australian Light Horse of Anzac Mounted Division operating as mounted infantry, drove German and Ottoman forces back from Romani to Magdhaba and Rafa and out of the Egyptian Sinai Peninsular in 1916.
