There are 7 local television channels, apart from all kinds of international channels ranging from kids channels such as Nickelodeon or Disney Channel to channels such as E !, HBO, etc.

Starting in 1992, TV channels like Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network aired re-runs of Gumby episodes.

On July 11, 2012, Nickelodeon, along with many other Viacom channels, were temporarily dropped from DirecTV's line up due to ongoing contract negotiations between DirecTV and Viacom.

Nickelodeon and its sister channels Nick Jr., TeenNick and Nicktoons ( along with some international versions of the channel ) suspend programming for three hours from 12 – 3 p. m.
