Sports for Life ( SFL ), a project of PCR, uses athletic activity and play as vehicles for bringing about positive changes in the lives of people with disabilities.

X5 uses APR in place of SFL, and has been run on Windows, Linux, AIX, Solaris, and OpenVMS.

SFL uses the idea of system to refer to language as a whole, ( e. g. “ the system of language ”).

Neither S3 nor SFL was ever promoted as a development tool for end-user applications ; neither was delivered as a standard part of the operating system, nor were they marketed as products in their own right, though in practice they were made available to users and third parties who needed them.

The EoSFL is generally not viewed as being as strong as the Highland League ( with fewer of their club sides defeating SFL sides in the Scottish Cup competition as opposed to the HFL ) but is still regarded as being stronger than the SoSFL.

There is no direct relegation from the Scottish Third Division but since the 2005 – 06 season if a club finishes bottom for three successive seasons then they will have their full membership of the SFL suspended.

Irn-Bru extended their sponsorship of the SFL for another three seasons from 2010 / 2011 onwards.

However, the following season, Montrose finished at the bottom of the table, and despite signs of a recovery in 1925-26, lost their league place when the Third Division was scrapped owing to the financial difficulties experienced by many of the member clubs. 1925 – 26 Montrose are one of only three sides from that Third Division, who are still competing today in the SFL.

The proposed new stadium would maximise their chances of getting into the SFL after getting rejected on 3 June 2008 because they didn't have a good enough stadium.

With approval by the SFL, their name was changed to Airdrie United, the team relocated to Airdrie and the strip was altered to the famous diamond style of Airdrieonians.

Due to their SFL Cup triumph, they qualified for the UEFA Cup and reached the second round, where they were eliminated by eventual winners Bayern Munich.

On September 1, 2008, in a corporate move by Tribune to de-emphasize the references of " The CW " branding for their CW affiliates, channel 39 was rebranded as " SFL " and it debuted a logo featuring the capital " S " in the Sun-Sentinel nameplate.

It is one of Scotland's three " senior " non-leagues which sit below the Scottish Football League ( SFL ), the other two being the Highland Football League and the South of Scotland Football League ( SoSFL ).
