The Sufis were practitioners of the esoteric mystic traditions within an Islam at certain point sufism defined by the sufi master or Pir ( Sufism ) or fakeer or Wali in the language of the people by dancing and singing and incorporating various philosophies, theologies, ideologies and religions together.

In Christianity, there is the silence of contemplative prayer such as centering prayer and Christian meditation ; in Islam, there are the wisdom writings of the Sufis who insist on the importance of finding silence within.

Takfiris, on the other hand, exist in every Muslim sect, large or small, and often their fingers point not only to those who supposedly belong to a rival sect, but also to those within their own ; one example of this is the clear enmity between the Sufis and Salafi.

The great knowledge of the Sufis and their utter renunciation of this world and of everything other than Allah testify to their inno ¬ cence from these terrible accusations, therefore we prefer to dismiss such accusa ¬ tions and consider that their statements are true realities in the way they expressed them.

Some of these include: husayniyas ( also known as ashurkhanas, imambaras, matams or tekiyas ) used by Ithna ‘ Ashari Shi ‘ i communities ; ' khanaqas, ribats, tekkes and zawiyas used by mystically-oriented Muslim communities commonly referred to as Sufis ; the cemevi of the Turkish Alevis ; and the majlis and khalwas of the Druze.

Revelation of the Veiled was written in response to the request of one Abu Sa ' eed Al-Hujwiri who put the following questions to him: " Explain to me the true meaning of the Path of Sufism and the nature of the stations ' ( maqamat ) of the Sufis, and explain their doctrines and saying, and make clear to me their mystical allegories, and the nature of Divine Love and how it is manifested in human hearts, and why the intellect is unable to reach the essence thereof, and why the soul recoils from the reality thereof, and why the spirit is lulled in the purity thereof ; and explain the practical aspect of Sufism which are connected with these theories.

Every day hundreds of people do visits these shrines to pay their respect to the Sufis.

Besides these, most of the Sufis maintained their own Khankhas ( convents for disciples ) and Kutub Khanas ( libraries ).

At the end of this sahavas Meher Baba gave the completed manuscript of his book God Speaks to two attending American Sufis, Lud Dimpfl and Don E. Stevens, for editing and publication in America.

The Lyab-i Hauz ensemble, surrounding the pond on three sides, consists of the Kukeldash Madrasah ( 1568 – 1569 ), the largest in the city ( on the north side of the pond ), and of two religious edifices built by Nadir Divan-Beghi: a khanaka ( 1620 ), or lodging-house for itinerant Sufis, and a madrasah ( 1622 ) that stand on the west and east sides of the pond respectively.

The Muslims of Albania were divided into two main communities: those associated with Sunni Islam and those associated with the Bektashi Sufis, a mystic Dervish order that came to Albania during the Ottoman period, primarily during the 18th and 19th centuries.

Karaites absorbed certain aspects of Jewish sects such as Isawites ( Shi ' ism ), Malikites ( Sunnis ) and Yudghanites ( Sufis ), who were influenced by East-Islamic scholarship yet deferred to Ash ' ari when contemplating the sciences.

There are monist pantheists and panentheists in Zoroastrianism, Hinduism ( particularly in Advaita and Vishistadvaita ), Judaism ( monistic panentheism is especially found in Kabbalah and Hasidic philosophy ), and in Islam ( among the Sufis, especially the Bektashi ).

Sufis believe they are practicing Ihsan ( perfection of worship ) as revealed by Gabriel to Muhammad, " Worship and serve Allah as you are seeing Him and while you see Him not yet truly He sees you.

Al-Yafi ‘ i, Ibn ‘ Ata ’ Allah and others have declared that they considered Ibn ‘ Arabi a walî, noting that the language which Sufis use is appropri ¬ ate among the experts in its usage and that the knower of Allah (‘ ârif ), when he becomes completely ab ¬ sorbed in the oceans of Unity, might make some statements that are liable to be misconstrued as indwelling ( hulûl ) and union ( ittihâd ), while in reality there is neither indwelling nor union.

Although his heroes are for the most part Sufis and ascetics, he also introduces stories from historical chronicles, collections of anecdotes, and all types of high-esteemed literature.

All castes can participate, although there is debate between Sufis and legalists about whether novice Sufis and ones more advanced in their faith are capable of achieving the same positive results from sama '.

Present day Bauls in Bangladesh are Sufis.

The Sufis manage a system of Lataif-e-sitta, that are positioned at various points on the body, and at the level of the heart there are 3 positioned horizontally.

These are generally not independently written, however they are found in the books of Sufis.

There is also a small community of Muslim Sufis but there are no statistics regarding its size.

Among the famous Sufis who trace their lineage to him are: Quṭbuddīn Bakhtiyār Kākī, Farīduddīn Mas ' ūd, Nizāmuddīn Auliyā ', Amir Khusrau, Nasiruddin Chiragh Dehlavi, Muhammad Hussain-i Gisūdarāz Bandanawāz, Ashraf Jahāngīr Simnānī and Aṭā ' Hussain Fānī.

Once when he was asked how he could compare Sufis with socialist comrades, he replied, " They are the real comrades ".

Sufis generally hold to a much more inclusivist and tolerant view of other faiths and religious systems than traditional Sunni and Shi ' a Islam.

It has been narrated through more than one source and has be ¬ come well-known to everyone that whoever opposes the Sufis, Allah will not make His Knowledge be ¬ ne ¬ ficial, and he will be inflicted with the worst and ugliest diseases.

So although group dhikr is seen as a hallmark of Sufism, the Sufis themselves practice the same private forms of worship that other Muslims practice, though usually more frequently and methodically ; group dhikr is a less-frequent occurrence and is not the end-all-and-be-all of Sufism, as some Sufi orders do not even perform it.

Graves took a supportive interest in Shah's writing career and encouraged him to publish an authoritative treatment of Sufism for a Western readership, along with the practical means for its study ; this was to become The Sufis.

Current ways of " teaching " literature in schools and universities may make it difficult for literary people to approach Sufi literature as it should be: Sufis do not pull apart a tale to find its meaning, but cite the case of the child who has dismantled a fly and, left with a heap of wings, a head, legs, asks " Where is the fly?

Tirana soon became the center of Albanian art, culture and religion ( especially with the Spread of Islam and the Bektashi Sufis, it became famous because of its strategic position at the heart of Albania.

However, some saints are venerated by Sufis because of their religious reputations, whether or not they were associated with an order or one of its communities.

Sufis identify it as love, and they recognize its fulfillment in Meher Baba, the very embodiment of love.
