According to some Jewish traditions ( e. g., B. Talmud Nedarim 32b ; Genesis Rabbah 46: 7 ; Genesis Rabbah 56: 10 ; Leviticus Rabbah 25: 6 ; Numbers Rabbah 4: 8.
