In 1941 Konrad Zuse presented the Z3, the world's first fully functional and programmable computer using electromechanical parts.

Konrad Zuse's Z3 was the world's first working programmable, fully automatic computer, with binary digital arithmetic logic, but it lacked the conditional branching of a Turing machine.

Despite the absence of conditional jumps, the Z3 was a Turing complete computer ( ignoring the fact that no physical computer can be truly Turing complete because of limited storage size ).

Zuse's later machine, the Z3, was finished in 1941.
