Portions of the Apollo 17 mission are dramatized in the miniseries From the Earth to the Moon episode entitled " Le Voyage dans la Lune ".

* In episode 2, season 4 of " How I Met Your Mother ", entitled " The Best Burger in New York ", Marshall's description of the taste of the best burger uses music that alludes to the 1984 film " Amadeus ", when Antonio Salieri describes the same music ( by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart ) with the same accuracy and passion with which Marshall speaks of the burger.

* In episode 17, season 5 of " Family Guy ", entitled " It Takes a Village Idiot, and I Married One ", the Griffin family is wearing powdered wigs in their living room and Stewie Griffin begins playing several classical compositions, including those by Joseph Haydn and George Frideric Handel, when Peter Griffin, as Salieri, says " Play Peter Griffin ", alluding to the 1984 film Amadeus, when the disguised Salieri character requests that Mozart imitate his compositional style.

" episode of 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles show, Shredder and Krang use an abandoned building from the 1964 World's Fair as their hideout when they lose access to the Technodrome, which has ended up stuck in Dimension X.

An episode of Dimension X featured a plot very similar to the later Alternative 3: On the 14 July 1950 episode " The Man In the Moon ", an employee of the fictional United States " Bureau of Missing Persons " overhears a radio broadcast from a man who claims to be held prisoner on the Moon.

In ' Ace ' Rimmer's universe ( series IV episode " Dimension Jump ) the West Indian priest stationed on the Mimas test flight base bears a striking resemblance to Cat.

In the last episode of the eighth season, " Turtle Trek ", the Turtles destroy the Technodrome's engines and trap Krang and Shredder in Dimension X.

In the last episode of the season, The Shredder Is Splintered, Donatello reverses the Technodrome's dimensional portal, and causes the Technodrome to be sucked into Dimension X.

In the final episode of the season, The Big Blow Out, the Technodrome is in New York City and has opened a giant portal to Dimension X in the sky over it.

; Season 4 ( 1990 ): In the first episode of the season, Plan 6 from Outer Space, it is learned that the Technodrome landed on an asteroid in Dimension X.

In the episode The Dimension X Story, Krang finds out that the asteroid has a volcano.

Sometimes the references are blatant ; in episode 18 of Super Dimension Fortress Macross, the dying Roy Fokker not only repeats the famous words of Mr. Spock from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan -- " The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few ..." but adds Captain Kirk's reply -- " or the one ".

Krang and Shredder eventually returned to the Technodrome in the season 8 episode Turtle Trek, but the Turtles destroy the engines of the Technodrome, trapping it and its inhabitants in Dimension X and putting an end to Krang's plans.
