Other fine buildings of this period include the Scottish Baronial former Courthouse ( currently derelict ) on Chapel Street ; the Classical First Presbyterian Church ( Loy Hill ) and Italianate Molesworth Presbyterian Church ( Molesworth Street ); the Romanesque Methodist Church ( Church Street ); the Hibernian Bank on James Street and the pair of railway termini on Molesworth Street.

The former James County Courthouse located in the square in downtown Ooltewah is the community's major landmark.

It features many shops and cafés with outdoor eating areas along with some notable architecture, including Tattersalls Hotel, built in the Art Deco style during the 1930s ; Armidale Courthouse ; the city's main Post Office ; the former Commonwealth Bank and the New England Hotel.

McMaster has a number of administrative offices at its Downtown Centre, located in Hamilton in the former Wentworth County Courthouse.

Biff built a casino hotel in Hill Valley ( at least 27 stories high ), named " Biff's Pleasure Paradise ", on the site of the former Courthouse, and upon legalized gambling in 1979.

Hoban was in South Carolina by April 1787, where he designed numerous buildings including the Charleston County Courthouse ( 1790 – 92 ), built on the ruins of the former South Carolina Statehouse ( 1753, burned 1788 ).
