Angerlo is a village in the municipality of Zevenaar, in the eastern Netherlands.

The city was abolished by House Bill 1102 effective January 1, 2007, and no longer exists as a municipality.

In the early part of the 20th century, there was an incorporated municipality there for about a quarter century, but it no longer exists.

In a first meaning, " Rotselaar " refers to the whole of the municipality of Rotselaar as it exists since the merger of municipalities that came into effect on January 1, 1977 and reduced the number of autonomous municipalities in Belgium to 589.

On March 27, 2006 Hondo was merged with the towns of Amakusa, Ariake, Goshoura, Itsuwa, Kawaura, Kuratake, Shinwa and Sumoto, all from Amakusa District, and the old city of Ushibuka, to become the new city of Amakusa and no longer exists as an independent municipality.

On March 27, 2006 Sawara was merged with the towns of Omigawa, Yamada and Kurimoyo, all from Katori District, to form the new city of Katori, and thus no longer exists as an independent municipality.

On January 1, 2006 Hisai, along with the towns of Anō, Geinō and Kawage, the village of Misato, all from Age District, the towns of Hakusan, Ichishi and Karasu, and the village of Misugi, all from Ichishi District, was merged into the expanded city of Tsu and no longer exists as an independent municipality.

On January 1, 2005 Hōjō, along with the town of Nakajima, from Onsen District, was merged into the expanded city of Matsuyama and no longer exists as an independent municipality.

On November 1, 2004 Tōyo, along with the towns of Komatsu and Tanbara, both from Shūsō District, was merged into the expanded city of Saijō and no longer exists as an independent municipality.

On March 27, 2006 Ushibuka was merged with the towns of Amakusa, Ariake, Goshoura, Itsuwa, Kawaura, Kuratake, Shinwa and Sumoto, all from Amakusa District, and the old city of Hondo, to become the new city of Amakusa and no longer exists as an independent municipality.

On November 7, 2005 Kobuku was merged with the towns of Kirishima ( old ), Fukuyama, Hayato, Makizono, Mizobe and Yokogawa, all from Aira District, to form the new city of Kirishima and no longer exists as an independent municipality.

The Town of Rates, a municipality, already existed in the 13th century and the ecclesiastical parish exists from time immemorial, while the earliest record is from the 11th century.

On November 1, 2004 Yoshida, along with the towns of Kōriyama and Matsumoto, both from Hioki District, the town of Kiire, from Ibusuki District, and the town of Sakurajima, also from Kagoshima District, was merged into the expanded city of Kagoshima and no longer exists as an independent municipality.

On November 1, 2004 Matsumoto, along with the town of Kōriyama, also from Hioki District, the town of Kiire, from Ibusuki District, and the towns of Sakurajima and Yoshida, both from Kagoshima District, was merged into the expanded city of Kagoshima and no longer exists as an independent municipality.
