Hezbollah's television station Al-Manar airs programming designed to inspire suicide attacks in Gaza, the West Bank, and Iraq.

* Durant Public Schools has a 24 hour station which usually only airs slide shows.

The city has one television station owned by Weigel Broadcasting, WMLW-TV ( Channel 49 ), an independent station which airs syndicated product, and had its analog transmitter just north of the Milwaukee County line in Oak Creek.

* December 13 / 14 – The Los Angeles, California radio station KROQ-FM airs the 14th Annual of the Acoustic Christmas show with AFI, Blink-182, Brand New, Chevelle, The Distillers, Jane's Addiction, Jet, KoЯn, Linkin Park, The Offspring, P. O. D., Pennywise, Puddle of Mudd, Rancid, Staind, 311, Thrice and Trapt.

* May 19 – The Walt Disney cartoon Donald's Cousin Gus airs on NBC's experimental station W2XBS ( later WNBC-TV ) in New York.

In the Abu Dhabi case the station airs the picture of Iraqi fire from beneath of the camera.

KOZK, the PBS member station in Springfield airs on digital channel 23, virtual channel 21, and a sister station, KOZJ, airs in Joplin, Missouri as digital channel 25, virtual channel 26.
