Theodorus of Gadara was a Greek rhetorician of the 1st century BC who founded a rhetorical school in Gadara ( present-day Jordan ), where he taught future Roman emperor Tiberius the art of rhetoric.

He appears to have been the author of several works which are lost: the Suda mentions,,,, and, although perhaps some or all of these should be attributed to his younger namesake, Hermagoras Carion, the pupil of Theodorus of Gadara.

Cornelis Theodorus Maria van Dongen ( 26 January 1877 – 28 May 1968 ), usually known as Kees van Dongen or just Van Dongen, was a Dutch painter and one of the Fauves.
