The Tissington Trail is a bridleway and walk / cycle path in Derbyshire, England.

Tissington is a village in Derbyshire, England.

It is part of the estate of Tissington Hall, owned by the FitzHerbert family since 1465.

In the centre of the village is Tissington Hall, the seat of the FitzHerberts.

Its track bed now forms the High Peak Trail, a walk and cycle route which is joined by the Tissington Trail at Parsley Hay.

At Parsley Hay, about southwest of Bakewell, the High Peak Trail is joined by the Tissington Trail, another route of the National Cycle Network, which was formerly the railway branch line to Ashbourne.

The ' Monsal Trail ' is similar to the Tissington Trail and the High Peak Trail, and includes formerly closed tunnels on the route now being opened to the public as rights of way.
