Unseen by the crew, Worf is zapped with strange energy as the ship passes the cloud, causing him to become violent.

The character Worf does so in almost every one of his appearances through two series and four films.

Worf also has a human brother, Nikolai, through his adoption by the Rozhenkos, with whom he often quarreled.

After an accident caused the death of Lt. Marla Astor, Worf brought the orphaned Jeremy Astor into the House of Mogh through the rite of R ' uustai ( TNG: " The Bonding ").

Already prepared for such a tactic, Nero succeeds in surprising Worf by impaling him through the back with a large mechanical tentacle.

In the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode " Parallels ", Lt. Worf traveled to several parallel universes when his shuttlecraft went through a time space fissure.

Jadzia was married to Lieutenant Commander Worf, who at first refuses to speak to Ezri, convinced that Jadzia has gone on to Sto-Vo-Kor and can no longer exist through the Dax symbiont.

Meanwhile, Counselor Troi evaluates both Worf and Dr. Crusher, finding neither recall their strange behavior.

Several " tall, slim, black actors " auditioned for Worf before Michael Dorn came along, walking into the audition in character and not smiling ( Indeed, Michael Dorn found the seriousness of the role, especially during the audition, at first to be uncomfortable, since he considers himself a comedian at heart ).

Although Worf was raised by humans, he considered himself a Klingon at heart and studied the ways of his people.

Worf avoided romantic attachments with non-Klingons during his first few years on board the Enterprise-D. As Worf explained to both Riker and Guinan, he felt that non-Klingon females would be too fragile, and that he would have to restrain himself too much.

Vulcan's Forge is also mentioned in " Change of Heart ", in which Worf wants himself and Jadzia Dax to honeymoon there, as well as in episodes " The Forge ", " Awakening " and " Kir ' Shara " from Star Trek: Enterprise.

Martok, although he knows that this is indeed Gowron's intention, tells Worf not to involve himself.

After returning from a bat ' leth tournament, Worf finds himself shifting between various realities of existence.

Other major changes occur: Riker is seen as Captain of the Enterprise, the Bajorans become the suppressors of the Cardassians and enemies of the Federation, Wesley Crusher is a lieutenant on the Enterprise, Alyssa Ogawa is the Chief Medical Officer, and Worf finds himself married to Deanna Troi.

Commander Riker, obviously hoping to eventually command a starship himself, asks Worf for his impressions.

When Kargan activates it, he finds himself transported aboard the Enterprises bridge and held at bay by Worf.

When Captain Data agrees, Worf is beamed back to the ship, giving the Narada time to fire on the Enterprise.

This plot was planned to shift the focus of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episodes back toward the struggle with the Dominion, which had been postponed in earlier production discussions with Paramount in favor of bringing Worf and a Klingon-based plotline into the series.

Gowron angrily warns him that if Worf turns his back on him, he will reinstate the discommendation and that not even Worf's brother Kurn will be spared.

Meanwhile, Worf requests a leave of absence to visit his brother, Kurn, who controls a small fleet of Birds of Prey, and to urge him to back Gowron, as, once installed as the Leader, Gowron can reinstate their family name.

MacDuff struggles back to the tactical console, but both Riker and Worf fire their phasers again, disabling MacDuff before he can activate the ship's weapons.

In the council, all of the assembled Klingons, including Kurn, turn their back to Worf in his disgrace, and he and Picard silently leave the hall.

After locating the correct ship, Worf begins to travel back but is attacked by another Enterprise that has come from a Borg-overrun universe, its crew refusing to return.

Worf beams all prisoners back to the moon.

Worf turns control of the ship back over to Picard.

Riker and Worf are beamed back aboard as the Yamato fades away.

In tears, Dr. Crusher informs Troi and Alexander of his demise, but minutes later they are pleasantly surprised as Worf revives due to the redundancies built into his body that back up even his neural functions.
