Portions of the Apollo 17 mission are dramatized in the miniseries From the Earth to the Moon episode entitled " Le Voyage dans la Lune ".

* In episode 2, season 4 of " How I Met Your Mother ", entitled " The Best Burger in New York ", Marshall's description of the taste of the best burger uses music that alludes to the 1984 film " Amadeus ", when Antonio Salieri describes the same music ( by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart ) with the same accuracy and passion with which Marshall speaks of the burger.

* In episode 17, season 5 of " Family Guy ", entitled " It Takes a Village Idiot, and I Married One ", the Griffin family is wearing powdered wigs in their living room and Stewie Griffin begins playing several classical compositions, including those by Joseph Haydn and George Frideric Handel, when Peter Griffin, as Salieri, says " Play Peter Griffin ", alluding to the 1984 film Amadeus, when the disguised Salieri character requests that Mozart imitate his compositional style.

* In episode 13, season 2 of 30 Rock entitled Succession Tracey Jordan says that he is Mozart and Frank is the guy who was always jealous of Mozart.

Holly was depicted in the Quantum Leap episode entitled " How the Tess Was Won " although his identity isn't revealed until the very end of the episode.

In 1964, he appeared as Richard Kimble's nephew in ABC's The Fugitive in the 15th episode entitled " Home Is The Hunted "; as Barry in the NBC medical drama The Eleventh Hour, episode " Sunday Father "; as himself three times in the ABC sitcom The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet ; in the Disney film For the Love of Willadena ; and as a troubled orphan taken home with Darrin and Samantha Stephens in Bewitched episode " A Vision of Sugarplums " ( December 1964 ).

* The character of Dr. Hesselius is featured in a Mutual Broadcasting Network radio drama entitled " The Shadow People ", an episode from The Hall of Fantasy series ( 1946 – 1947, 1949 – 1952, 1952, 1953 ).

One episode in Series 5 of Steptoe and Son was entitled " Any Old Iron ", for the same reason, when Albert thinks that Harold is ' on the turn '.

* In an episode of The Saint television series entitled ' Escape Route ' ( 1966 ), Simon Templar ( Roger Moore ) is sent to Dartmoor to uncover a planned escape.

To promote the album, Jones performed " Girl " on an episode of The Brady Bunch entitled " Getting Davy Jones ".

Arden had a very brief guest role in a 1955 I Love Lucy episode entitled " L. A. at Last " in which she played herself.

* In the Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode entitled Him ( Season 7, Episode 6, aired November 5, 2002 ), Dawn Summers ( Michelle Trachtenberg ) is called into the principal's office to answer some questions about a boy who fell down the stairs under suspicious circumstances.

* An episode of Transformers: Armada ( 2003 ) –, entitled " Mars ", features some of the Transformers visiting the planet in an effort to locate a Mini-Con.

Several months later, she appeared in the first episode, entitled " One Blonde Too Many ", of NBC's one-season The Tab Hunter Show, a sitcom starring the former teen idol as a bachelor cartoonist.

In an episode of the American TV show Law and Order entitled Divorce, a homeless man believes he is Pope Adrian VI.

The final episode of this series, " Goodbyeee ", is known for being extraordinarily poignant for a comedy – especially the final scene, which sees the main characters ( Blackadder, Baldrick, George, and Darling ) finally going " over the top " and charging off into the fog and smoke of no man's land to presumably die.
