Since 1971, Eureka has been known as the home of the amusement park formerly known as Six Flags Over Mid-America and now called Six Flags St. Louis.

Eureka is the home to the last amusement park to be built under the " Six Flags Over " name.

Kemp briefly served on the board of Oracle Corporation, CEO is friend Larry Ellison, in 1996, but resigned when he ran for Vice President ; he was named to the board of Six Flags, Inc. in December 2005.

Bugs in particular remains a mascot to Warner Bros .' various divisions and Six Flags ( which Time Warner previously owned ).

Throughout the 1970s and 1980s Warner Communications branched out into other business, such as its acquiring of video game company Atari, Inc. in 1976, and later the Six Flags theme parks.

In 1997, Time Warner sold the Six Flags unit.

Important attractions included the Silver Springs Nature Theme Park, Wild Waters water park, and the now-defunct Western-themed Six Gun Territory, all in nearby Silver Springs, Florida.

In the wake of the failure of Fallen Fairies and his unhappy experience with it, German effectively ended his career as a composer of new works, only returning to composition on a few rare occasions, including a march and hymn for the coronation of King George V in 1911, his Theme and Six Diversions in 1919, and his final major work, the Othello-inspired tone poem The Willow Song in 1922.

Beginning in 1916, he was also one of the first composers to conduct his own music for recording, producing full recordings of Merrie England and Theme and Six Diversions.

A recording of his Richard III, Theme and Six Diversions and The Seasons was released by Naxos in 1994.

In 2000, Premier Parks assumed the Six Flags Theme Parks, Inc. name and continued re-branding its parks, most notably the former Geauga Lake into Six Flags Ohio.

Six Boards and Commissions assist the commissioners: the Planning Commission, Parks Board, Board of Elections, Sign Review Board, Board of Zoning Appeals, and Ethics Commission.
