Officially owned by the Evergreen House Foundation, an independent entity started by Zuloaga's great friend, philanthropist Alice Warder Garrett ( 1877-1952 ), Evergreen's works include full-length portraits of Mrs. Garrett ( 1915 ; 1934 ); a seated portrait of Ambassador John Work Garrett ( 1872-1942 ); a Spanish landscape ; a painting based on the opera, " Goyescas "; and a landscape of Calatayud ( Spain ).

On February 24, 1817, a raiding party killed Mrs. Garrett, a woman living in Camden County, Georgia, and her two young children.

In the second season, Mrs. Garrett was promoted to school dietitian, and all the original cast members were dropped except for Blair, Natalie, and Tootie.

" The plotline for the pilot had Kimberly Drummond requesting that Mrs. Garrett help her sew costumes for a student play at East Lake School for Girls, the school Kimberly attended in upstate New York, as her dorm's housemother had recently quit.

Mrs. Garrett agrees to help, puts on a successful play, and also solves a problem for Nancy.

Mrs. Garrett is asked to stay on as the new housemother but states she would rather remain working for the Drummonds at the end of the pilot.

Although Kimberly Drummond is featured as a student at East Lake, her character did not cross over to the spinoff series with Mrs. Garrett.

In addition to being housemother to the remaining girls, Mrs. Garrett became the school dietitian as the second season began.

To keep the four girls under one roof, Mrs. Garrett went into business for herself and opens a gourmet food venture named Edna's Edibles.

In season eight's heavily promoted one-hour premiere " Out of Peekskill ", Mrs. Garrett married the man of her dreams and joined him in Africa while he works for the Peace Corps.

Mrs. Garrett convinces her sister, Beverly Ann Stickle ( Cloris Leachman ), to take over the shop and look after the girls.

Firstly, an Earth-26 Blue Beetle, a swarm of sentient insects that form a man-shaped body ( calling themselves " The Scarab "); as well as Ted of Earth-33, an anthropomorphic beetle, the pet of Mr. and Mrs. Kord ; and Earth-39 Blue Beetle, a younger version of Dan Garrett, who has bonded with his scarab in the same way as Jaime Reyes.

Midway throughout both the 1984-85 and 1985-86 seasons, she missed several episodes, all because she was planning on leaving the show, while at the same time, the story lines focused more on the girls, in lieu of Mrs. Garrett.

Beginning her career as a radio performer at the age of seven, Garrett is best known for her seven years on Fred Waring's " Pleasure Time " radio show during the 1940s, as well as for her recurring television and film roles ; as nosy neighbor Mrs. Florence Fowler on Nanny and the Professor ( 1970 – 1971 ), school secretary Miss Hogarth on Room 222 ( 1972 – 1973 ) and as Mary Gruber in the Benji series of motion pictures beginning in 1974.

Having met in Paris in 1914, when Mrs. Garrett was accompanying her diplomat husband in Europe, Bakst soon depended upon his then new American friend as both a confidante and agent.

Patsy Garrett had the recurring role of nosy neighbor Mrs. Fowler.

One of his many characters received a lot of attention, Mrs. Edna Garrett from The Facts of Life.

His celebrity impersonations included Charlotte Rae ( a reprisal of Mrs. Edna Garrett from The Rerun Show ), Dick Cheney, James Lipton, and Richard Simmons.

Susie Garrett ( December 29, 1929 – May 24, 2002 ) was an American actress, best known for playing " Mrs. Betty Johnson " on the TV series Punky Brewster from 1984 to 1988.

" The clubhouse's central hall was filled with massive antique furniture presented to the club by Mrs. T. Harrison Garrett ; these furnishings remain in use to this day.

Sims Reeves, Mrs Marriott and James Anderson all performed here ; as well as programmes of classical opera and even Shakespeare, with such luminaries as Henry Irving.

Mrs Miller visits Sophia and tells her how well Tom has behaved towards her penniless cousin, Mr Anderson.

To avoid the press, she was booked in as Mrs. Anderson, the name by which she was subsequently known.

Shaw had already used her as inspiration for some of his plays before their first meeting in 1897 when he unsuccessfully tried to persuade " Mrs Pat " to play the role of Judith Anderson in the first production of his play The Devil's Disciple.

The monster kills Mrs. Anderson before the two doctors can rescue her.
