Cameron Frye's House located at 370 Beech Street, Highland Park, Illinois

The modernist house of Cameron Frye is located at 370 Beech Street, Highland Park, Illinois 60035, known as Ben Rose House designed by architects A. James Speyer, who designed the main building in 1954, and David Haid, who designed the pavilion in 1974, and once owned by photographer Ben Rose.

It intersects County Route 608 ( Carmel Road ) and County Route 698 ( Beech Street ), County Route 667 ( Sharp Street ), and County Route 610 ( Brandriff Avenue ) before meeting County Route 555 ( Cedar Street ), which it forms a concurrency with.

Great houses, such as the Dickinson Mansion on North Main Street in Essex Village, to the mansions of A. W. Comstock ( currently the Copper Beech Inn ) and R. H. Comstock in Ivoryton, may stand in sharp contrast to the smaller capes in Centerbrook and the factory dwellings in Ivoryton, but they are all equally important in telling us of our past.

Indianapolis ' Troy Avenue becomes Beech Grove's Albany Street ; Indianapolis ' Sherman Drive becomes Beech Grove's 17th Avenue ; and Indianapolis ' Emerson Avenue becomes ( in places ) Beech Grove's 1st Avenue.

Some Beech Grove streets have been named in honor of notable citizens, such as Byland Drive ( Mayor Richard Byland ); Fletcher Lane ( former Fire Chief, City Councilman and business owner Robert Fletcher ); Killian Drive ( Father Peter Killian ); Newcomer Lane ( Town Board member and businessman W. S. Newcomer ); and Ticen Street ( Town Board member Willard Ticen ).

There are three High Schools in Dearborn Heights: Crestwood High School on Beech Daly Road ( Crestwood School District ), Robichaud High School on Janet Street ( Westwood Community Schools ), and Annapolis High School on Clippert Street ( Dearborn Heights District No. 7 ).

The 1891 Victorian home located at 748 Beech Street is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places and was once visited by President Grover Cleveland.

One is located at the end of Beech Grove and the other is in Main Street next to the Library.

A combination of the stream valleys, such as that in which 96th Street runs, and wetlands to the northeast and east, may have protected a portion of the Upper West Side from the Lenape's controlled burns ; lack of periodic ground fires results in a denser understory and more fire-intolerant trees, such as American Beech.

To relieve this pressure, the network-wide New Works Programme, 1935-1940 included the construction of new sections of tunnel between the Bakerloo line's platforms at Baker Street and Finchley Road and the replacement of three Metropolitan line stations ( Lord's, Marlborough Road and Swiss Cottage ) between those points with two new Bakerloo stations ( St. John's Wood and Swiss Cottage ).

The solution was now a new branch of the Bakerloo line from Baker Street to serve St John's Wood and Swiss Cottage, thereby rendering the existing stations of Lord's, Marlborough Road and Swiss Cottage on the parallel route redundant, and negating the need for the Met's extension from Edgware Road station ( it should be noted, however, that Swiss Cottage ( Metropolitan ) was proposed to remain open during peak hours for interchange with the Bakerloo, and that Lord's station would further open for special cricketing events.

The nearest London Underground stations are St John's Wood, Swiss Cottage — on the Jubilee Line ; Maida Vale, Marylebone Station and Warwick Avenue — on the Bakerloo Line ; and Baker Street on Bakerloo Line, Jubilee Line, Hammersmith & City Line, Metropolitan Line and Circle Line.

Small stores around Main Street, Union Street, and Cottage Street have changed business due to the influx of this new demographic.

* In June 2011, the City of Chicago renamed a portion of East 36th Street near Cottage Grove Avenue as the honorary " Sam Cooke Way " to remember the singer near a corner where he hung out and sang as a teenager.

Some of the buildings designed by the Sugdens are as follows: the Congregational Church with its 130 ’ spire, ( now Trinity Church ), built in the Victorian Gothic Revival style ( 1863 ), Myatt ’ s Mill in Earl Street ( 1864 ), Mill Street Methodist Chapel and Ragged School ( 1870 ), the Cottage Hospital, in memory of silk manufacturer James Allsop ( 1871 ), their own houses in Queen Street, complete with monograms for William, Larner and for Larner ’ s French wife ( 1877 ), West Street School ( extended in 1881 ), the District Bank, which exhibits a strong Richard Norman Shaw influence ( 1882 ) and the Leonard Street Police Station in Scottish Baronial style ( 1891 ).

Leertouwer died here and is buried in the Old Indian Cemetery on Cottage Street in West Brookfield .< ref >" The Legend of Diederick Leertouwer and Asparagus in New England.

Among the locations located there are the Collinsport Wharf, Main Street and the Evans Cottage.

Redfern's Cottage: Museum of Uttoxeter Life is on Carter Street and is run by a group of volunteers.

On December 1, 2008, the Curb Exchange building at 86 Trinity Place was closed, and the Amex Equities trading floor was moved to the NYSE Trading floor at 11 Wall Street.

When open, it ran for about between Columbia Street and Boerum Place.

On June 3, 1962, Broadway became one-way south of Canal Street, with Trinity Place and Church Street carrying northbound traffic.

In 1895, Parliament gave the Museum Trustees a loan of £ 200, 000 to purchase from the Duke of Bedford all 69 houses which backed onto the Museum building in the five surrounding streets-Great Russell Street, Montague Street, Montague Place, Bedford Square and Bloomsbury Street.

On November 30, 2003, a block of East 2nd Street in New York City was officially renamed Joey Ramone Place.

In September 2010, the Associated Press reported that " Joey Ramone Place ," a sign at the corner of Bowery and East Second Street was New York City's most stolen sign.

* Simcoe Street and John Street in downtown Toronto, along with Simcoe Place ( office tower ) in downtown Toronto, are all located near the fort where Simcoe lived during his early years in York.

After the plane penetrated through the tower, part of the plane's landing gear and fuselage came out the north side of the tower and crashed through the roof and two of the floors of 45 – 47 Park Place, between West Broadway and Church Street, ( 600 feet ( 180 meters )) north of the former World Trade Center.

Some debris from the aircraft were recovered nearby, including landing gear found on top of a building on the corner of West Broadway and Park Place, an engine found at Church & Murray Street, and a section of the fuselage landed on top of 5 World Trade Center.

The theatre stands in the Regents Place development, site of the demolished Osnaburgh Street.

The wall started at Pearl Street, which was the shoreline at that time, crossing the Indian path Broadway and ending at the other shoreline ( today's Trinity Place ), where it took a turn south and ran along the shore until it ended at the old fort.
