Cameron Frye's House located at 370 Beech Street, Highland Park, Illinois

The modernist house of Cameron Frye is located at 370 Beech Street, Highland Park, Illinois 60035, known as Ben Rose House designed by architects A. James Speyer, who designed the main building in 1954, and David Haid, who designed the pavilion in 1974, and once owned by photographer Ben Rose.

It intersects County Route 608 ( Carmel Road ) and County Route 698 ( Beech Street ), County Route 667 ( Sharp Street ), and County Route 610 ( Brandriff Avenue ) before meeting County Route 555 ( Cedar Street ), which it forms a concurrency with.

Great houses, such as the Dickinson Mansion on North Main Street in Essex Village, to the mansions of A. W. Comstock ( currently the Copper Beech Inn ) and R. H. Comstock in Ivoryton, may stand in sharp contrast to the smaller capes in Centerbrook and the factory dwellings in Ivoryton, but they are all equally important in telling us of our past.

Indianapolis ' Troy Avenue becomes Beech Grove's Albany Street ; Indianapolis ' Sherman Drive becomes Beech Grove's 17th Avenue ; and Indianapolis ' Emerson Avenue becomes ( in places ) Beech Grove's 1st Avenue.

Some Beech Grove streets have been named in honor of notable citizens, such as Byland Drive ( Mayor Richard Byland ); Fletcher Lane ( former Fire Chief, City Councilman and business owner Robert Fletcher ); Killian Drive ( Father Peter Killian ); Newcomer Lane ( Town Board member and businessman W. S. Newcomer ); and Ticen Street ( Town Board member Willard Ticen ).

There are three High Schools in Dearborn Heights: Crestwood High School on Beech Daly Road ( Crestwood School District ), Robichaud High School on Janet Street ( Westwood Community Schools ), and Annapolis High School on Clippert Street ( Dearborn Heights District No. 7 ).

Land on Beech Street was purchased from the Fair Oaks Land Company and the shed was moved there during the summer of 1916.

The 1891 Victorian home located at 748 Beech Street is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places and was once visited by President Grover Cleveland.

One is located at the end of Beech Grove and the other is in Main Street next to the Library.

A combination of the stream valleys, such as that in which 96th Street runs, and wetlands to the northeast and east, may have protected a portion of the Upper West Side from the Lenape's controlled burns ; lack of periodic ground fires results in a denser understory and more fire-intolerant trees, such as American Beech.

Churches established in the city in later years include Beech Grove Wesleyan Church ( formerly Pilgrim Holiness Church, in the 1920s ); Independent Nazarene Church ( in the 1950s ); Faith Assembly of God ( Assemblies of God, 1958 ); South Emerson Church of God ( Reformation Movement, Church of God ( Anderson ), 1961 ); Southwood Baptist Church ( Southern Baptist Convention, 1962 ); and Ascension Lutheran Church ( Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, 1972 ).

White was baptized as a youth in the Christian faith at Beech Springs Baptist Church in Texarkana ( Miller County, Arkansas ), later pastored by future Republican Governor Michael Dale " Mike " Huckabee.

Also within the city limits are the Holy Name of Jesus School ( Roman Catholic, grades pre-school to 8 only ), built in 1922, and the Nazarene Christian School, grades Kindergarten through 12, ( Independent Nazarene, a ministry of the Independent Nazarene Church in Beech Grove ).

A Methodist Episcopal meeting in the Clapp family home in 1908 eventually led to the present Beech Grove United Methodist Church.

A noon-time Christian men's meeting of " Big Four " railroad employees in 1910 was the genesis of the present Beech Grove Christian Church.

Scargill Church of England School is situated on Beech Lane.

The large Church of the Epiphany located on Beech Lane was constructed in 1936-1938 by N. F.

Old Lucan consists of the main town of Lucan, containing smaller roads and shops, the local CBS, national schools, St. Mary's Church and housing estates such as Esker Lawns, Lucan Heights and Beech Park resting in the Liffey Valley.

Ringwood Avenue, Beech Drive, Church Vale and Twyford Avenue were built during the 1930s on the southern part of Coldfall Wood.

The listed Police Members were Corp. Thomas Whitwell, Troopers John, Patrick Monahan, Thomas Cornwark and Dismounted Trooper Edward Beech ; these officers were Gazetted on 30 April 1839.

The bond is dated June 10, 1806 ; it was written the day before the marriage in the small community of Beechland on the Little Beech River.

Although Beech Grove was incorporated in late 1906, it did not see rapid growth until the completion of the railroad facility in 1908 ; by July 1907, for example, there were only four homes and two businesses in place.

Both moved away from the area while they were still infants ; neither one grew up or lived in Beech Grove.

In the United States Charles Sprague Sargent noted the earliest appearance in a nurseryman's catalogue in 1820, but in 1859 " the finest Copper Beech in America ... more than fifty feet high " was noted in the grounds of Thomas Ash, Esq., Throggs Neck, New York ; it must have been more than forty years old at the time.

In order to support Unigov, a compromise was arranged ; the cities of Beech Grove, Lawrence, Southport, and Speedway each maintained limited autonomy, with their own police forces, school systems, and mayors ( except Speedway ); in addition, fire service and school districts were maintained at their pre-Unigov borders, and some towns otherwise incorporated into the city were permitted to maintain independent police forces.
