Alfonso XII ( born Alfonso Francisco de Asís Fernando Pío Juan María de la Concepción Gregorio Pelayo ) ( Madrid, 28 November 1857 – El Pardo, 25 November 1885 ) was King of Spain, reigning from 1874 to 1885, after a coup d ' état restored the monarchy and ended the ephemeral First Spanish Republic.

On 15 January 1941, Alfonso XIII abdicated his rights to the Spanish throne in favour of his third ( of four ), but second-surviving, son Juan, father of the current King, Juan Carlos.

Melilla was part of the Kingdom of Fez when the Catholic Monarchs, Queen Isabella I of Castile and King Ferdinand II of Aragon requested Juan Alfonso Pérez de Guzmán, 3rd Duke of Medina Sidonia, to take the city.

He named Juan Carlos de Borbón, a grandson of Alfonso XIII, his successor on 22 July 1969.

Bound with the original ( and with the translation ) will usually be found a Diálogo by Alfonso de Valdés on the sack of Rome in 1527 ; this is also ascribed to Juan in the reprint, Dos Diálogos ( 1850 ).

Thus these Legitimists settled on Juan, Count of Montizón, the Carlist pretender to the Spanish throne ( the Salic law having been suspended in Spain, the actual king, Alfonso XII, was not the senior descendant in the male line ), as their claimant to the French crown.

Since Infante John's and Infante Peter's deaths in 1939, Infante Philip ( son of Sancho IV and María de Molina, thus brother of Infante Peter ), Juan Manuel ( the king's second-degree uncle by virtue of being Ferdinand III's grandson ) and Juan el Tuerto ( the late Juan's son and the king's second-degree uncle ) split the kingdom among themselves according to their aspirations for regency, even as it was being looted by moors and Levantine nobility.

Juan Molina ( born March 17, 1965 ), better known as John John Molina in the world of boxing, is a former boxer whose career transcended boxing in Puerto Rico.

Molina became a world champion by beating Laporte by a 12-round unanimous decision at Roberto Clemente Coliseum in San Juan.

The second part ( 1635 ), the printing of which was paid for by the confraternity of St Jerome, contains four plays by Tirso de Molina, and eight written by him in collaboration with other dramatists ; one of these collaborators was Juan Ruiz de Alarcón, but Tirso de Molina was the predominant spirit in these literary partnerships.

Tirso de Molina is universally known as the author of El Burlador de Sevilla y convidado de piedra ( The Trickster of Seville and the Stone Guest ), the piece in which Don Juan is first presented on the stage ; but El Burlador de Sevilla represents only one aspect of his genius.
