It was adopted by some Eastern Orthodox Churches under the names Revised Julian calendar or New calendar, but was rejected by others.

This method of translation is in contrast to the traditional translations of the Authorized Version ( King James Version ), English Revised Version, American Standard Version, Revised Standard Version, and others, which place an emphasis on word-for-word correspondence between the source and target language.

Today, some churches continue to follow the Julian Calendar while others follow the Revised Julian Calendar.

Revised liveries were gradually introduced, with the green and yellow replacing most of the white on some buses, and matt black lower deck window surrounds applied to many others, the latter became the livery applied to new buses.

Those Protestants that follow the Revised Common Lectionary, such as Lutherans, United Methodists, Anglicans, and others also read the " Good Shepherd " passage from John chapter 10 on the Fourth Sunday of Easter and some also call this day " Good Shepherd Sunday.

" Although many traditional Bible translations, most notably the Authorized King James Version ( KJV ), contain the Comma, modern Bible translations from the Critical Text such as the New International Version ( NIV ), the New American Standard Bible ( NASB ), the English Standard Version ( ESV ), the New Revised Standard Version ( NRSV ) and others tend to either omit the Comma entirely, or relegate it to the footnotes.

It may also be found in many larger English Bibles included as part of the Biblical Apocrypha, as they exist in the King James version, the Revised Standard Version, and the earliest editions of the Catholic Douay-Rheims Bible, among others.

David Daniell, in his compendious work The Bible in English ( 2003 ), states that the scholars who worked on the Revised Version in England ( 1881 ) consulted Thomson's translations ( among others, of course ) during their work.

It was later revised and published as the New Revised Standard Version ( NRSV ).

Our family devotions were tough going because of the difficulty we had understanding the King James Version, which we were then using, or the Revised Standard Version, which we used later.

Besides two or three other bibles, he brought out The Revised English Bible, London, 1877, on the same lines as, and closely resembling, the later official revised version.

The later Revised game included material from Attack of the Clones and changed various feats and classes.

The large print run meant that Revised basic lands were so numerous and common that it was uncommon to find any other lands in decks until several years later.

In later sets, cards were swapped in and out to change the feeling of the game, but the cards removed for the Revised edition were all cut for one of three reasons:

753 was later repealed by Republic Act No. 4073, an Act further liberalizing the Treatment of Leprosy by Amending and Repealing Certain Sections of the Revised Administrative Code, resulting in the loss of jurisdiction by the Department of Health over the natural resources of Culion.

This problem was eliminated in the Revised version of the system and later derivatives by stating that a botch only occurred if no normal successes were scored, and one of the dice came up " 1 ".
