He is buried in the nearby St Enodoc Church, Trebetherick.

Behind Daymer Bay's sand dunes and south of Trebetherick is the St Enodoc Golf Club's golf course.

Between its fairways is St Enodoc Church, a small church with a bent steeple.

He is buried half-a-mile away in at St Enodoc Church, a place he commemorated in his poem Sunday Afternoon Service thus:

He was the owner and caretaker of Mount St. Helens Lodge at Spirit Lake.

He had lived in Riffe, Washington, until around 1926, when he became caretaker of the Mount St. Helens Lodge, located at the foot of Mount St. Helens beside Spirit Lake.

Sir Christopher Wren has since the eighteenth century been claimed by the Lodge of Antiquity No. 2, one of the four founding Masonic Lodges of the Grand Lodge of England in 1717, to have been its Master at the Goose and Gridiron at St. Paul's churchyard, while he was rebuilding the cathedral: he is said to have been " adopted " on 18 May 1691 ( that is, accepted as a sort of honorary member or patron, rather than an operative ).

Their eighteenth-century maul with its 1827 inscription claiming that it was used by Wren for the foundation stone of St. Pauls, belonging to the Lodge and on display in the Freemasons ' Grand Museum, corroborates the story, which is debatable mainly because it would have been in the interests of the Lodge and the Craft to fabricate it.

By the standards of his time a gentleman like Wren would not generally join an artisan body ; however the workmen of St Paul's cathedral would naturally have sought the patronage or " interest " of their employer, and within Wren's lifetime there was a predominantly gentlemen's Lodge at the Rummer and Grapes, a mile upriver at Westminster ( where Wren had been to School ).

When Childe worked there, it was located in St John's Lodge, a building in the Inner Circle of Regent's Park, although would be moved to Gordon Square in Bloomsbury in 1956.

Works in Ireland include the Irish National War Memorial Gardens in Islandbridge Dublin, which consists of a bridge over the railway and a bridge over the river Liffey ( unbuilt ) and two tiered sunken gardens ; Heywood Gardens, County Laois ( open to the public ) consisting of a hedge garden, lawns, tiered sunken garden and a belvedere ; extensive changes and extensions to Lambay Castle, Lambay Island near Dublin consisting of a circular battlement enclosing the restored and extended castle and farm building complex, upgraded cottages and stores near the harbour, a real tennis court, a large guest house ( The White House ), a boathouse and a chapel ; alterations and extensions to Howth Castle, County Dublin ; the unbuilt Hugh Lane gallery straddling the River Liffey on the site of the Ha ' penny Bridge and the unbuilt Hugh Lane Gallery on the west side of St Stephen's Green ; a Lodge at Costelloe, County Galway ( that was used for refuge by J Bruce Ismay the Chairman of the White Star Line following the sinking of the Titanic ) and a hunting lodge near Rosapenna in northern County Donegal, most recently used as a youth hostel.

Smyth moved to Stone near Aylesbury in 1842, and still had the opportunity to use the telescope since his residence at St. John's Lodge was not far from its new location, and he performed a large number of additional astronomical observations from 1839 to 1859.

The old Manor house, Harefield Place, adjacent to St Mary the Virgin church, was replaced in 1786, when a new mansion house was built at Harefield Lodge.

St Mary's Lodge on Lordship Road, the 1843 home of architect and district surveyor John Young, is the last-surviving of several grand detached houses built in the area around that time for well-off members of the new commuter class.

* Richard Bebb, actor, theatre historian, music archivist – lived in St Mary's Lodge, Lordship Road, as a child.

The Celebration is in honor of St. John ’ s Day, June 24, 1717, when the first Grand Masonic Lodge in England was established.

In 1902 the members of the Witherspoon Lodge bought the two story frame building at 1470 Clayton St. Mount Dora, FL.

The Lorraine Park Cemetery Gate Lodge and St. Mary's Episcopal Church were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Deer Lodge was also once an important railroad town, serving as a division headquarters for the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad (" the Milwaukee Road ") before the railroad's local abandonment in 1980.

The Committee runs summer sports at St. Mary's and other classes at the Civic Center and Elks Lodge.

The Independent Order of Odd Fellows ( IOOF ), Knights of Pythias Lodge, Soloka Lodge, Wanapum Tribe 28, Improved Order of Redmen, Cacciatori d ’ Africa ( literally Hunters of Africa – an Italian Lodge ), Croatian Fraternal Union Lodge No. 56, SNF Lodge No. 79 ( Croatian ), St. Barbara Lodge No. 39 ( Greek Catholic ), and Dr. David Starcevich Lodge No. 56 ( Croatian ) are among the organizations and ethnicities represented at the cemetery.

No Catholic high school education is offered at St. Ann School, and students typically attend public school for grades 8 – 12.

The famed apologist St. Justin Martyr ( c. 150 ) wrote: " No one else is permitted to partake of it, except one who believes our teaching to be true ...." For the first several hundred years, non-members were forbidden even to be present at the sacramental ritual ; visitors and catechumens ( those still undergoing instruction ) were dismissed halfway through the Liturgy, after the Bible readings and sermon but before the Eucharistic rite.

No Quebec or francophone members of Mackenzie's cabinet or government were willing to step into the role, but many recommended St. Laurent to take the post instead.

No doubt the British invasions in the early 19th century did not help relations, and in later years smuggling and illegal sales of slaves by St. Thomians would frustrate British authorities.

On November 14, 1898, John S. Thurman of St. Louis, Missouri, submitted a patent ( US No. 634, 042 ) for a " pneumatic carpet renovator ".

After Pete Kelly's Blues, she appeared in sporadic movie cameos, in St. Louis Blues ( 1958 ), and Let No Man Write My Epitaph ( 1960 ).

The lead single, " Alphabet St .", peaked at No. 8 on the Hot 100 and No. 3 on the R & B chart, but finished with only selling 750, 000 copies.

The Astors also owned a grand London house, No. 4 St. James's Square, which is now the premises of the Naval & Military Club.

No one knows who the namesake of the island is, but some suppose that since Gosnold's mother-in-law and his second child, who died in infancy, were both named Martha, Gosnold perhaps named Martha's Vineyard after his daughter, who was christened in St James ' Church ( now St Edmundsbury Cathedral ), Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk, England.
