Eastern European theorists include Pyotr Stolypin ( 1862 – 1911 ) and Alexander Chayanov ( 1888 – 1939 ) in Russia ; Adolph Wagner ( 1835 – 1917 ), and Karl Oldenberg in Germany, and Bolesław Limanowski ( 1835 – 1935 ) in Poland.

According to Chalmers, a naturalistic account of property dualism requires a new fundamental category of properties described by new laws of supervenience ; the challenge being analogous to that of understanding electricity based on the mechanistic and Newtonian models of materialism prior to Maxwell's equations.

However, in neither article was there any mention of " a bit of paper just large enough to bear the stamp ", so merely reading the Times would not have made Chalmers aware that Hill had already made that proposal ; this suggests either that he had read Hill's booklet and was merely elaborating on Hill's idea, or that he in fact independently developed the idea of the modern postage stamp.

The first of such groups was headed by Dr. James DeWitt Mills who, along with four associate physicians ; Dr. Chalmers A. ( In the opening of the book, Chalmers instigates a sequence of events that leads to Boone being assassinated ; much of what follows is a retrospective examination of what got things to that point.

As UNOMA's power erodes, the Mars treaty is renegotiated in a move led by Frank Chalmers ; the outcome is impressive but proves short-lived as the TransNats find ways around it through loop-holes.

However, his cynicism is later shown to be a form of self-defense ; Chalmers is at least partly driven by a hidden idealistic side.

Besides biographical sketches of Defoe, Sir John Davies, Allan Ramsay, Sir David Lyndsay, Churchyard and others, prefixed to editions of their respective works, the British government paid Chalmers 500 pounds sterling to write a hostile biography of Thomas Paine, the author of the Rights of Man, that Chalmers published under the assumed name of Francis Oldys, A. M., of the University of Pennsylvania ; and a life of Ruddiman, in which considerable light is thrown on the state of literature in Scotland during the earlier part of the last century.

It is founded on a manuscript left by John Whitaker, the historian of Manchester ; but Chalmers found it necessary to rewrite the whole.

Key episodes include " Thou Shalt Not Steele ", which introduced Laura's mother and Felicia, a woman from Steele's past ; " Sting of Steele ", which introduced Daniel Chalmers ( Efrem Zimbalist Jr .) as Steele's former mentor ; and " Vintage Steele ", a fan favorite which focused on Laura's past.

The History was criticised as inadequately researched by Peter Chalmers Mitchell in 1929 ; both histories were labelled inaccurate by John Bastin in 1970.

Little is known of the family with certainty ; the Chambers Biographical Dictionary records that they arrived in Spain in the 8th century but the name is familiar from the romance by Ginés Perez de Hita, Guerras civiles de Granada, which celebrates the feuds of the Abencerrages and the rival family of the Zegris, and the cruel treatment to which the former were subjected.
