The Nation of Islam was founded in Detroit, Michigan in July, 1930 by Wallace Fard Muhammad, also known as W. D. Fard Muhammad ( 1877 – 1934 ).

The founder of the US-based black nationalist Nation of Islam, Wallace Fard Muhammad, is believed by followers to be an incarnation of God, also considered to be the Messiah of Christianity and Mahdi of Islam.

While fasting in the month of Ramadan is considered Fard ( obligatory ), Islam also prescribes certain days for non-obligatory, voluntary fasting, such as:

The advancement of a God or Earth is based on his or her memorization, recitation, comprehension, and practical application of the Supreme Mathematics and the Supreme Alphabet and also the 120 Lessons, sometimes referred to as degrees, a revised version of the Supreme Wisdom lessons of the NOI, originally written by Wallace Fard Muhammad and Elijah Muhammad.

Fard also claimed that Christianity was a religion of the slave owners that had been forced on enslaved or subordinated black peoples.

The founding of the Nation of Islam by Wallace Fard Muhammad also created competition for members.

The community was further split when Wallace Fard Muhammad, known within the temple as David Ford El, also claimed ( or was taken by some ) to be the reincarnation of Drew Ali.

Followers of the Mustaali-Tayyebi imams also recite the names of these imams in Dua-e-Taqarrub after the Fard Salah ever yday.

He taught his followers that, Allah appeared in the person of Master Fard Muhammad.

According to the supreme wisdom lessons, Fard taught that whites were devils because of a culture of lies and murder that the black man Yakub instituted on the island of Patmos or Pelan to ensure the creation of his new people.

According to Elijah, Fard taught that Yakub established a secret birth control policy among the ruling class on the island.

Also, Fard taught that much of their savage ways came from living in the caves and hillsides of Europe for over 2, 000 years without any divine revelation or knowledge of civilization.

Fard taught his followers that whites did not become civilized until the Prophet Moses or Musa was sent to them 2, 000BC.

Fard taught that Allah was manifested as a physical being with supreme technology and aviation that mastered the heavens.

According to Elijah Muhammad, Fard taught that Asia was one of the original words that referred to the entire world, not just one land mass.

Fard taught that Europe was a place where people where sent and bound, as one is sent to prison, implying that the sun, or light, of civilization has gone down on that people.

Fard taught that Asia, or earth, is home to all humans, but that blacks were the original human beings and created first.

He believed that the NOI's teachings were contradictory because they taught that God is black but encouraged reverence of Fard Muhammad, who was not of exclusively African descent.

Fard claimed that Prophet Muhammad of Arabia was a white skinned Arab and that he was the best example for all mankind, emphasizing to his followers that The Holy Qu ' ran and the life of Prophet Muhammad must be studied.

Referencing the Bible 2 Kings 2: 11 and in many other instances where a flying craft or angels with wings are described, Fard convinced His followers that God has always had and used superior technological power and flying vehicles.

The presence of Islam in eastern countries such as Indonesia and the Middle East may have led others to think that Fard was using this as a way of justifying the historical faith of Asian peoples as a whole, to his followers.

Fard wanted his followers to see themselves as one race with all non-Europeans.

The Final Call organization led by Louis Farrakhan in Chicago celebrates a similar day every fourth Sunday in February regardless of the date called Saviours ' Day, but with an apostrophe at the end instead of apostrophe-s indicating that Farrakhan and his followers believe there are saviors other than Fard Muhammad.

The story states that Clarence was then disciplined by the NOI and excommunicated in 1963, but another version of events says that he left on his own free will along with Abu Shahid, who agreed with Clarence's questioning of Wallace Fard Muhammad.

Fard, as all Muslims do, loved and revered Prophet Muhammad as well as his own mother.

His father excommunicated him three times for denying the divinity of W. F. Muhammad ( Fard ), a position which the son reached after his own study.

While believing that Allah came in the person of Wallace Fard Muhammad, founder of the NOI, Jenkins claims that he himself is Allah in his own person who is more powerful and who is given the task of coercing the submission of all things and perfecting everything used to magnify Him, after which men males will all be God,

Multiple stories exist as to why Clarence and the NOI parted ways: some have him refusing to give up gambling ; others have him questioning the unique divinity of Wallace Fard Muhammad, whom the NOI deified as the True and Living God in person ; or questioning his position as God due to the belief that Fard was born of a Caucasian mother.

They teach that their founder, Master Fard Muhammad was the Mahdi.

After he was released in 1929, he disappeared from the public record until " Wallace Fard " was arrested in 1932.

Soon enough Ford's former alleged common-law wife, Hazel Ford, stepped forward with what she claimed was proof that W. F. Muhammad ( alias Wallace D. Fard ) and Wallace D. Ford were indeed the same person.

While the question of W. F. Muhammad's identity is controversial, Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, does accept that Fard was imprisoned, but only after the events of 1932.

The Nation of Islam have denied that their founder, Fard was involved in these events, insisting that he was never a member of the MSTA and that Ford-el and the Nation of Islam's Fard were two different people.

Although not charged with any crime, Fard was asked to leave town in early 1933 and not to return.

Fard was arrested and again asked to leave Detroit.

Elijah began preaching that Wallace Fard Muhammad was the Mahdi and that it was God directly intervening in the world through Fard.

In 1981, Pakistani scholar Zafar Ishaq Ansari researched Fard's life and claimed that Fard was identical with Muhammad Abdullah, a Pakistani Ahmadiyya Muslim.

Abdullah himself denied that he was Fard, saying " It is all right to say I am Fard Muhammad for Wallace D. Muhammad.

Fard claimed that Armageddon was imminent.

He rejected the deification of the founder Wallace D. Fard as Allah in person, the mahdi of the Holy Qur ' an and messiah of the Bible, welcomed white worshippers who were once considered devils and enemies in the NOI as equal brothers and friends.

Fard reversed the common white supremacist idea that black people were less evolved than whites, making blacks the original, uncorrupted peoples of the world, of which whites were thought of as a grafted, or genetically altered, hybrid.

The Nation of Islam identifies the ophanim with the Mother Plane, which Wallace Fard Muhammad described as a " small man-made planet " located approximately 40 miles ( 64 km ) above the earth that would one day destroy the cities of white people.
