In 1991 they released their first album, Accelerator, which was followed by their seminal breakthrough ambient-dub track " Papua New Guinea ", featuring a looping Lisa Gerrard vocal sample from Dead Can Dance's ' Dawn Of The Iconoclast ' and a bassline from Meat Beat Manifesto's ' Radio Babylon '.

Nico's vocal style is somewhat different from her prior records, with some songs bearing similarities to Dead Can Dance's Lisa Gerrard.

Since her career began in 1981, Gerrard has been involved in a wide range of projects.

Gerrard however performs more predominantly in the dramatic contralto range in her other songs, Sanvean, Sacrifice, Largo and Not Yet.

Richard Lovelace's mother, Anne Barne ( 1587 – 1633 ), was the daughter of Sir William Barne and the granddaughter of Sir George Barne III ( 1532-d. 1593 ), the Lord Mayor of London and a prominent merchant and public official from London during the reign of Elizabeth I ; and Anne Gerrard, daughter of Sir William Garrard, who was Lord Mayor of London in 1555.

The Diggers took their name from the original English Diggers ( 1649 – 50 ) led by Gerrard Winstanley, and they sought to create a mini-society free of money and capitalism.

The concept of wage slavery could conceivably be traced back to pre-capitalist figures like Gerrard Winstanley from the radical Christian Diggers movement in England, who wrote in his 1649 pamphlet, The New Law of Righteousness, that there " shall be no buying or selling, no fairs nor markets, but the whole earth shall be a common treasury for every man ," and " there shall be none Lord over others, but every one shall be a Lord of himself.

Some of the criticism from within the media was answered however, as England put in a much improved performance, despite the absence of Beckham through suspension and Sol Campbell and Steven Gerrard through injury, in a 2 – 1 win against Poland.

He wrote to Washington D. C. to get the town ’ s name changed from Gerrard to Inwood and to get a post office established there.

In 2010 Gerrard released a new album with fellow composer Marcello De Francisci titled " Departum " from Gerrard Records which was followed by the release of three new singles ; " Coming Home "-as featured in Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga ' Hoole, " Entry " and " Come This Way ".

“ The Club ” was founded in 1764 and met in the suite of rooms on the first floor of the Turks Head, 9 Gerrard Street, now marked by a plaque.

The four played together for the first time in a room below a record store on Gerrard Street in London.

Various libertarian socialist authors have identified the written work of English Protestant social reformer Gerrard Winstanley and the social activism of his group, the Diggers, as anticipating this line of thought.

The first was Gerrard Winstanley ( 1609-c. 1660 ), a linen draper who led the small movement of the Diggers during the Commonwealth.

In Germany its foremost spokesman during the Peasant Wars was Thomas Muenzer ; in England, Gerrard Winstanley, a leading participant in the Digger movement.

By the mid-18th century, the aristocrats who had been living in Soho Square or Gerrard Street had moved away.
