* The revaal or ravaal is a four-beat lateral gait associated with Marwari, Kathiawari or Sindhi horse breeds of India.

Marwari speakers have dispersed widely throughout India and other countries but are found most notably in the neighboring state of Gujarat and in Eastern Pakistan.

The Marwari or Marwadi are an Indian ethnic group that originate from the Rajasthan region of India.

The term Marwari used once to refer to the area encompassed by the former princely state of Marwar, being the Jodhpur region of southwest Rajasthan in India.

It is spoken by 20 million people in Rajasthan and neighboring states of India and Pakistan, or 50 million if Marwari is counted as Rajasthani, as it often is.

The Marwari or Malani is a rare breed of horse from the Marwar ( or Jodhpur ) region of India.

In late 2007 plans were announced to create a stud book for the breed, a collaborative venture between the Marwari Horse Society of India and the Indian government.

Six different breeds have been identified in India: the Marwari, Kathiawari, Spiti pony, Bhutia pony, Manipuri Pony, and Zanskari.

They are quite similar to the Marwari horse, another breed from India, having much of the same history and physical features.

Originating for the Marwar region of the state is the concept Marwari Bhojnalaya, or vegetarian restaurants, today found in many part of India, which offer vegetarian food of the Marwari people.
