He published Tracts and Other Papers, Relating Principally to the Origin, Settlement, and Progress of the Colonies in North America ( 4 vol Washington, 1836 – 1846 ), which comprised rare pamphlets.

Among his other works may be mentioned Charges and Tracts ( 1836 ), Essays on Some of the Dangers to Christian Faith ( 1839 ), The Kingdom of Christ ( 1841 ).

His chief work appeared in 1713, under the title Clavis Universalis, or A New Inquiry after Truth, being a Demonstration of the NonExistence or Impossibility of an External World ( printed privately, Edinburgh, 1836, and reprinted in Metaphysical Tracts, 1837, edited by Sam.

Falkland wrote a Discourse of Infallibility, published in 1646 ( Thomason Tracts, E 361 ), reprinted in 1650, in 1651 ( E 634 ) edited by Triplet with replies, and in 1660 with the addition of two discourses on episcopacy by Falkland.
