Arthur Robert Jensen ( born August 24, 1923 ) is a Professor Emeritus of educational psychology at the University of California, Berkeley.

In 1988 he returned to Bloomington as " College of Arts and Sciences Professor " in both cognitive science and computer science, and also was appointed adjunct professor of history and philosophy of science, philosophy, comparative literature, and psychology, but he states that his involvement with most of these departments is nominal.

He is a Harvard College Professor and the Johnstone Family Professor in the Department of Psychology at Harvard University, and is known for his advocacy of evolutionary psychology and the computational theory of mind.
