We do well to remind ourselves that from men and women of New England ancestry also issued the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, the Seventh Day Adventists, Christian Science, the American Board of Commissioners for Foreign Missions, the American Home Missionary Society, the American Bible Society, and New England theology.

There are also implicit claims to being the Christ in the words and actions of Jesus.

The Gospel of Barnabas claims that Jesus predicted the advent of Muhammad, thus conforming with the Qur ' an which mentions:

This predicted event has been variously interpreted as referring to: ( 1 ) Jesus ' transfiguration ; ( 2 ) his resurrection ; ( 3 ) the coming of the Spirit at Pentecost ; ( 4 ) the spread of the kingdom through the preaching of the early church ; ( 5 ) the destruction of the temple and Jerusalem in AD 70 ; or ( 6 ) the second coming and final establishment of the kingdom.

William Miller predicted on the basis of and the " day-year principle " that Jesus Christ would return to Earth between the Spring of 1843 and the Spring of 1844.

In Matthew 26: 24-25, Mark 14: 18-21, Luke 22: 21-23 and John 13: 21-30 during the meal, Jesus predicted that one of his Apostles would betray him.
