On March 13, 1879, Russell married Maria Frances Ackley (; 1850 – 1938 ) after a few months ' acquaintance.

Maria Russell filed a suit for legal separation in the Court of Common Pleas at Pittsburgh in June 1903 and three years later filed for divorce under the claim of mental cruelty.

Russell Doubleday ( May 26, 1872 in Brooklyn – June 14, 1949 at Glen Cove, Long Island ) was an American author, editor and publisher, the brother of Frank Nelson Doubleday and son of William Edwards Doubleday and Ellen Maria " Ella " Dickinson.

Anna Maria Russell, Duchess of Bedford ( 3 September 1783 – 3 July 1857 ) was a lifelong friend of Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom, whom she served as a Lady of the Bedchamber between 1837 and 1841.

A year ago it was bruited that the primary character in Erich Maria Remarque's new novel was based on the Marquis Alfonso De Portago, the Spanish nobleman who died driving in the Mille Miglia automobile race of 1957.

Agnes Maria of Andechs-Merania ( died 1201 ), queen of France, was the daughter of Bertold IV ( died 1204 ), who was Count of Andechs, a castle and territory near Ammersee, Bavaria and from 1183 duke of Merania ( Istria ).

On 23 January 1878 at the Basilica of Atocha in Madrid, Alfonso married his cousin, Princess Maria de las Mercedes, daughter of Antoine, Duke of Montpensier, but she died within six months of the marriage.

Benedict died in 1730 and was buried in a tomb in Santa Maria sopra Minerva completed by Pietro Bracci and others.

He died on 9 December 1565, and was buried in Santa Maria degli Angeli.

Both Anna Maria and Europa gave up art upon marrying, while Lucia Anguissola, the best painter of Sophonisba's sisters, died young.
