Recent years have seen a reliance on weekend celebrity-hosted content and large cash prizes to entice listeners-the award of £ 110, 600 to Nicola Diss, the winner of the popular Magic Mystery Voices contest on 12 January 2006 was the largest cash prize given away on UK radio since 1999, a sum surpassed just a few months later by the prize collected by listener Dawn Muggleton in the Smooth Secret Song competition on London rival 102. 2 Smooth FM, scooping £ 118, 454 on 19 April 2006.

These principles derive from Lodowicke Muggleton, who would have added one other matter as being of equal importance, namely, that God takes no immediate notice of doings in this world.

Here he would have encountered an annual cricket match against a team formed of men with the name Muggleton, from the next village of Wilbaston.

" I do not speak this from hearsay of others ," says Muggleton in his autobiography, " but from a perfect knowledge which I have seen and heard.

" Muggleton concluded that more sober persons, in whom faith predominated, " would have been preserved from speaking evil of things they knew not.

Thomas Macaulay in his History of England ( 1849 ), describes Lodowicke Muggleton as " a mad tailor who wandered from pothouse to pothouse, tippling ale and denouncing eternal torments against all who refused to believe.

" Richard Farnesworth also taxes Muggleton about the failure of John Reeve and himself to live out their part from the book of Revelation.

At the time, Muggleton was in hiding at the house of Ann Lowe, a believer, from an arrest warrant of the Stationers Company.

Muggleton was bailed to appear to answer charges arising from his book The Neck of the Quakers broken, specifically that he did curse Dr Edward Bourne of Worcester, therein.

At each of his three two-hourly appearances in the pillory ( at Temple Gate, outside the Royal Exchange and at the market in West Smithfield ) a selection of the books seized from Muggleton were burnt by the common hangman.

Muggleton was advised to get Ann Lowe to sue him for debt so that a writ of habeas corpus would remove him from Newgate to the Fleet prison.

Definitely painted from life is the work by William Wood of Braintree, who was a friend of Lodowicke Muggleton.

Muggleton himself says his intention is to prophesy anew: " whereby is unfolded, and plainly declared, the whole counsel of God concerning Himself, the Devil and all Mankind from the foundation of the world to all eternity.

" Muggleton stresses he writes " without the help of other men's labours, but only as the revelation did arise in me from the seed of faith ".

After a short break, Muggleton will take over the role of ' Mrs Peachum ' in " The Threepenny Opera " alongside Paul Capsis for the Sydney Theatre Company, from 1 September 2011 to 24 September 2011, and then head for Perth ( WA ), where she will play the role of ' Mrs Johnstone ' in " Blood Brothers ", from 9 November 2011 to 4 December 2011-a role that she has longed to play.

He does not receive a straight answer although Muggleton says that faith in a time of innocence is one thing, but that faith through knowledge of good and evil is a higher state of consciousness altogether.

Muggleton seeks not only to explain the text of Revelation on its own terms but also to appropriate the text as a foundation for the Muggletonian faith.

The cast for this sequel includes Robert Carlyle, Rose Byrne, Jeremy Renner, Imogen Poots, Harold Perrineau, Catherine McCormack, Mackintosh Muggleton, and Idris Elba.

The first major story arc-defining event in the series is the turf war for top dog status between Bea Smith and Franky Doyle, culminating in a prison riot in which Meg Jackson is held hostage, and her husband, prison psychiatrist Bill Jackson ( Don Barker ), is stabbed to death by inmate Chrissie Latham ( Amanda Muggleton ).

The setting for the cricket match between All Muggleton and Dingley Dell in Charles Dickens ' Pickwick Papers was based on an amalgamation of the grounds at West Malling and Maidstone.

It is said that, on the death of John Reeve, there was a power-struggle between Lodowicke Muggleton and Laurence Clarkson ( or Claxton ) for leadership.

As a result, Muggleton dismisses Quakers as warmed-over Ranters, " for you have got your Christ all within you.

But Muggleton dismisses this instruction as a temporary expedient for the disciples ' use only.

When the bribe was returned, Muggleton knew for certain he was in serious trouble.

Eventually, the Sheriff of London, Sir John Peak was persuaded to release Muggleton for a payment of £ 100 cash down.

Muggleton has won several very significant awards, for Shirley Valentine, The Rise and Fall of Little Voice ( Norman Kessell Award ), for Miss Hannigan in Annie ( Colleen Clifford Award ), Maria Callas in Master Class ( a Green Room Award and a Robert Helpmann Award for best actress ), and a second Helpmann Award for Best Female Actor in a Supporting Role in a Musical for her role as Mercedes Cortez in the Australian Musical, Eureka!

The alternative explanation, that Muggleton brought Clarkson to heel by cutting off his allowance, seems unlikely given that Clarkson had spent all his life making a living as a wandering preacher and casual minister.

In turn, Muggleton asks what Quakers would have said to St. Peter after he had been given the keys to the kingdom, the power to bind and to loose, the power to remit or to retain sin, all whilst still a man?

Muggleton has appeared with all the State and commercial theatre companies.

Whilst Reeve was alive, we have no evidence that anyone took Lodowicke Muggleton very seriously except as Reeve's ever-present sidekick.

The song also featured in an ITV documentary series about recording techniques, where Tzuke and her producers Mike Paxman and Paul Muggleton showed how the song had been constructed using sound bytes of her voice which were transposed into a synthesizer range.

That Clarkson came to see how he had misread the situation may explain why he gave in to Muggleton so completely, even agreeing to give up writing and keeping that promise.

Muggleton says of Robins that he regarded himself as God come to judge the quick and the dead and, as such, had resurrected and redeemed Cain and Judas Iscariot as well as resurrecting Jeremiah and many of the Old Testament prophets.

" I have had nine or ten of them at my house at a time ," reports Muggleton, nonchalantly.

In a similar vein, Muggleton is reminded there is nothing in scripture foretelling the coming of one Lodowicke Muggleton, to which the reply is, " For, if there had been such a name written in scripture, many men would have named their sons Lodowicke Muggleton.

" Muggleton, discovering these men to be honest and courteous, sent a bribe after them when they had gone.

The rebels alleged that Muggleton had made ' nine assertions ' contrary to'all sober reason '.

" Overcoming his own fears along exactly these lines was what had motivated Muggleton in the first place.

Muggleton and Dennis Olsen also devised and co-produced Marvellous Party !, a production that celebrates the words and music of Noël Coward, and which had two sell-out shows at the Concert Hall in the Victorian Arts Centre, a highly successful Victorian tour and has been seen at Capers, Melbourne ( 2003 and 2004 ), Friends Restaurant ( Hyatt ) Perth, Edwards Waterfront Mandurah WA ( 2004 ) and Canberra's Teatro Vivaldi ( 2004 ).
