There are two smaller non-municipal libraries – the Chase Library on Route 28 in West Harwich at the Dennis town line, and the Harwich Port Library on Lower bank St. in Harwich Port.

Route 18 was formerly designated as Route S28, a prefixed spur of State Highway Route 28 through Middlesex and Monmouth Counties.

By the time the 1927 New Jersey state highway renumbering had been implemented and in law, the route was re-designated as State Highway Route S-28, a prefixed spur of State Highway Route 28 in Middlesex, following Raritan Avenue and River Road through Piscataway and Highland Park, joining State Highway Route 27 on a concurrency into New Brunswick, and onto George Street in New Brunswick southward.

The price tag for construction was $ 44 million ( 1962 USD ) and was to head for, accessing the Somerset Freeway, Interstate 287 and Route 28 before terminating at US 22.

Directly afterward, I-97 passes over Maryland Route 450 with no interchange.

It then passes under County Route 516 and County Route 527 ( Old Bridge-Matawan Road ), but has no northbound interchange to connect with them ; motorists have to travel through a residential area to access these roads.

Route 28 is a two-to four-lane road its entire length that passes through suburban areas and runs within a close distance of New Jersey Transit ’ s Raritan Valley Line for much of its length.

Here, the route passes residences and crosses County Route 643 ( Mountain Avenue ) before coming to an intersection with County Route 626 ( Somerset Street ).

The one-way pair, which has two lanes in each direction, passes residences before crossing County Route 531 ( Park Avenue ) in the commercial downtown area of Plainfield, coinciding with the directional change of Fourth Street and Fifth Street from west to east.

Westbound Route 28 in Cranford, New Jersey | Cranford. Upon crossing County Route 606 ( Hetfield Avenue ), Route 28 turns slightly mor east and enters Scotch Plains, where it passes homes to the south and businesses to the north.

Here, County Route 610 continues east on South Avenue and Route 28 heads north as a four-lane divided highway concurrent with County Route 610 that passes under the Raritan Valley Line.

In Cranford, Route 28 becomes a that passes homes before entering the commercial downtown area, where it intersects County Route 615 ( Springfield Avenue / Centennial Avenue ).

To the east of Fulton, Mill Creek Township includes Harveysburg, Steam Corner ( at the intersection of U. S. Route 41 and State Road 32 ) and Yeddo ( north of Kingman ).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of, of which 0. 20 % is water. New York State Route 29A ( Fulton Street ) is an east-west road through the city.

From Fairview to the northeast, U. S. 45E is concurrent with unsigned Tennessee State Route 43 for most of the route's length, except for short segments at Martin and South Fulton where it is cosigned with Tennessee State Route 216 and Tennessee State Route 215 respectively.

This ran along the present alignment of I-280 south of San Francisco, but in San Francisco it ran north parallel to State Route 1, past the planned west end of Interstate 80 which would have been at the junction with the Panhandle Freeway just south of Fulton and Park Presidio, along what would have been the Park Presidio Freeway north to the south approach to the Golden Gate Bridge.

The current facility on Route 3 opened in the summer of 2001 as Cayuga's Fulton Extension Center.

The Fulton Chain Lakes which Route 28 has been following extend into Hamilton County.

If this route was ever built, it could become part of the proposed Chicago – Kansas City Expressway, connecting to the planned Fulton County section of Illinois Route 336, and the now completed ( 2010 ) Interstate 72 across Missouri.

The station's broadcast is digital-only on UHF channel 50 from a transmitter located near New York State Route 30 near the Montgomery / Fulton County line, and is carried on Time Warner Cable in much of the Albany market on channel 20.

From there, Route 3 progresses across Oswego County and passes Lake Neatahwanta prior to entering Fulton.
