Argon ( αργος, Greek meaning " inactive ", in reference to its chemical inactivity ) was suspected to be present in air by Henry Cavendish in 1785 but was not isolated until 1894 by Lord Rayleigh and Sir William Ramsay in Scotland in an experiment in which they removed all of the oxygen, carbon dioxide, water and nitrogen from a sample of clean air.

She married in 1462 Sir William Brandon of Wangford, Suffolk and of Soham Court, Suffolk ( 1425-4 March 1491 ).

William was son of a senior Sir William Brandon of Wangford, Suffolk and of Soham Court, Suffolk, Knight Marshal of Marshalsea ( 1425-4 March 1491 ) and wife ( married 1462 ) Elizabeth Wingfield ( died 28 April 1496 / 1497 ).

He had numerous siblings, including Sir Thomas Brandon, who fought with him at the Battle of Bosworth and later became a leading courtier and Master of the Horse of Henry VII.

There are tombs in the church to Walter Grene ( 1456 ), Thomas Higate ( 1576 ), and Sir Edward Fenner ( 1611 ), Judge of the King's Bench.

John Howard was married firstly in 1442 to Katherine Moleyns ( 1429 – 3 November 1465 ), the daughter of William de Moleyns and Anne Whalesborough of Cornwall by whom he had six children ; and then secondly sometime before 22 January 1467 to Margaret ( 1436 – 1494 ), the daughter of Sir John Chedworth and his wife, Margaret Bowett, and widow, firstly of Nicholas Wyfold ( 1420 – 1456 ), the Lord Mayor of London and, secondly, of Sir John Norreys ( 1400 – 1466 ), Keeper of the Wardrobe.

Sir Richard Wingfield, of Kimbolton Castle ( c. 1456 – 22 July 1525 ) was an influential courtier and diplomat in the early years of the Tudor dynasty of England.

Gilbert Hay ( b. c. 1403 ; last mentioned in 1456 ) or Sir Gilbert the Haye, Scottish poet and translator, was perhaps a kinsman of the house of Errol.
