For the supporting tour, Slash enlisted James LoMenzo and Brian Tichy, of Pride and Glory, in place of Inez and Sorum who had other commitments.

" Slash's Snakepit toured in support of the album, with bassist James LoMenzo and drummer Brian Tichy, of Pride and Glory, replacing Inez and Sorum, who had opted out of touring and returned to Guns N ' Roses.

Slash and McKagan had been members since 1985, while Sorum joined the band in 1990.

Following their departures, the trio focused on separate projects with Slash reforming Slash's Snakepit and McKagan reforming 10 Minute Warning, as well as recording his second solo album while Sorum rejoined The Cult.

When musician Randy Castillo died from cancer in 2002, Slash, McKagan, and Sorum performed at a benefit concert to raise money and commemorate Castillo with Josh Todd and Keith Nelson of Buckcherry as well as B-Real and Sen Dog of Cypress Hill.

After Sorum posted a message about the show on his website, Weiland issued a statement through Blabbermouth. net in response, saying he " made many attempts to remain cordial with the members of Revolver, but mainly, the likes of " and that " band were a gang.

Weiland also departed the cover band Camp Freddy, which also featured Sorum, and has since reunited with Stone Temple Pilots.

Slash, McKagan and Sorum made a performance at the Road Recovery benefit concert on September 13 with a guest appearance from Kushner.

In 2010, Sorum formed the cover band Carnival of Dogs with Franky Perez, L. A.

Sorum left and went to Hollywood to play with a series of bands, including " Population Five ", with the bassist Prescott Niles from The Knack,.

In 1989 Slash saw Sorum live with The Cult on their Sonic Temple tour and, shortly after, Sorum joined Guns N ' Roses as Steven Adler's replacement.

In April 2006, nine years after leaving Guns N ' Roses, Sorum re-established his friendship with the band's frontman Axl Rose.
