In 2008, the university opened a graduate business school which grants four business masters degrees: Master of Business Administration and Leadership ( MBAL ), Executive Master of Business Administration ( EMBA ), Executive Master of Business Administration ( EMBA ) with a concentration in Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Management ( EMBA-PHM ), and Executive Master of Forensic Accounting ( EMFA ).

It is composed of the ministers of the three services, their chiefs of staff, and the EMFA chief.

During the years of 1995 / 96 the EMFA, responsible for the studies on the Ministry of Defense, evidenced that, amongst 179 countries, only 23 did not have integrated Armed Forces.

Currently, Goethe Business School offers three programs ; a Full Time MBA, EMBA in Alliance with Duke University and an EMFA program.

An FAI Cup semi-final in 1981 and a League of Ireland First Division Shield final defeat by EMFA were the highlights of the decade for them and by 1985 the club had been relegated to the newly-formed First Division.
