Dalhousie University ’ s Faculty of Agriculture sports teams are called the Dalhousie Rams, and participate in the Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association and as members of the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association.

The Colorado Faculty Athletic Conference changed its name to the Rocky Mountain Faculty Athletic Conference ( RMFAC ) on May 7, 1910.

The center houses Intramural Basketball and Volleyball Courts, Natatorium, Fitness Room, Weight Room, Indoor Walking or Jogging Track, Racquetball Courts, Rock Climbing Wall, Sports Café, Aerobic Room, Health and Physical Education Classrooms, Faculty and Athletic Offices, Athletic Training Room, and Citizen ’ s Memorial Hospital Sports Medicine Clinic.

Other activities include the sale of Slime Caps ( 1920 ), the Card Section ( 1952 – 1989 ), Football Program Sales ( 1960 ), Baylor University Athletic Hall of Fame ( 1960 ), Bear Bash ( 1968 ), the Baylor Faculty Jamboree ( 1990 ), the Robert L. Reid Distinguished Lecture Series ( 1992 ), and Banners, as well as many other projects to help meet the needs of the Baylor Community.

Clifford Leroy Hare was a member of Auburn University ’ s first football team who went on to serve as chair of the Auburn Faculty Athletic Committee.

Every undergradaute faculty is represented by at least one Faculty Representative with a representative gained for every 2000 students in a given faculty.

All faculties with less than 2000 students registered have one Faculty Representative.

The statute also provides for a University Executive Committee, the Students ' Representative Council, the Council of Faculty Deans and a University Ombudsman.

The YSU Faculty of Law, as an educational and scientific institution, effectively co-operates both with local and foreign scientific centers and institutions, in particular, with the Institute of Philosophy, Sociology and Law of the National Academy of Sciences of the RA, the Center of Constitutional Law, the Scientific and Educational Center of the General Prosecutor's Office of RA, a number of leading law schools of Russian Federation, Europe and the USA, as well as with some authoritative international organizations, including UN Representative Office in RA, United States Agency of International Development ( USAID ), American Bar Association ( ABA ), Open Society Institute ( OSI ), etc.

Acadia University's Board of Governors and members of the Acadia University Faculty Association ( AUFA ) have ratified a new collective agreement news release covering the period 1 July 2010 to 30 June 2014.

Faculty and lecturers are members of the Faculty Association.

Since November 2010, BGSU full-time faculty have been represented in collective bargaining by the BGSU Faculty Association, a chapter of the American Association of University Professors.

Founded in 1993, the Association générale des étudiants de la Faculté des lettres et sciences humaines de l ’ Université de Sherbrooke represents students in the Faculty of Letters and Humanities.

Since 2005, when it was accredited as sole representative of all students in the Faculty, the Association has fought against the monopoly held by a food-distribution company on the Sherbrooke Main Campus.

Founded in 1959, the Association générale des étudiants en sciences of the Université de Sherbrooke represents students in the Faculty of Science.

The Association générale des étudiants de la maîtrise et du doctorat de la Faculté d ' éducation de l ’ Université de Sherbrooke represents graduate students in the Faculty of Education.

The Association des étudiants de la Faculté d ' administration of the Université de Sherbrooke represents students in the Faculty of Administration.

The Association des étudiants en éducation physique of the Université de Sherbrooke represents students in the Faculty of Sports and Physical Education.

By request of the Ministry of Education, the Teachers ' Association made a draft of how to conduct the final examinations in the humanistic subjects in Aarhus and in the draft, the Association proposed that the faculty was named the Faculty of Humanities by analogy with the corresponding faculties in Uppsala, Lund, and Turku.

For example, each record in a " Faculty and Their Courses " table might contain a Faculty ID, Faculty Name, Faculty Hire Date, and Course Code — thus we can record the details of any faculty member who teaches at least one course, but we cannot record the details of a newly hired faculty member who has not yet been assigned to teach any courses except by setting the Course Code to null.

Dalhousie University also has a strong focus on agriculture, with the addition of the Faculty of Agriculture in September 2012.

The Faculty of Agriculture also has club teams in cross country, equestrian and golf, as well as a number of intramural leagues.

The University has been enriched by contributions from people like Prof. Amartya Sen, Prof. Sudhindranath Datta, Prof. Buddhadeb Bosu and Prof. Panchanan Chakravorty and many others who steered the early progress of the Arts and Science Faculties-the new additions to the original Faculty of Engineering & Technology.

The President presides over a Faculty Council which has the authority to alter curricular requirements, establish new degree programs, and approve candidates for degrees.

This has however never been a separate institution, but only a unit within the Faculty of Science and Technology and use of the term has been phased out after the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences was renamed the Faculty of Sciences and Technology in the 1990s.

Its Faculty of Law has also ranked first in the country, 8 out of the last 11 years.

The Faculty of Business and Law has more than 10, 000 students from all over the world and an extensive network of international partnerships.

In recent years, Victoria has had to expand out of its original campus in Kelburn, and new campuses have been set up in Te Aro ( architecture and design ), Pipitea ( opposite Parliament, housing the law, and commerce and administration schools ) and Karori ( education )-the Wellington College of Education, established in 1880, merged with the University to become its revived Faculty of Education on 1 January 2005.

The University has also invested in improving the building for the Faculty of Art & Design granting £ 35 million to facilitate three main changes including: a brand new building for the faculty, refurbishment of the workshops and renovation of the studios.

Hollings Faculty is located in Fallowfield, three miles south of Manchester city centre and has good teaching and learning facilities.

Manchester Metropolitan University has a building named after John Dalton and occupied by the Faculty of Science and Engineering, in which the majority of its Science & Engineering lectures and classes take place.

In the United Kingdom, the history of political thought has been a particular focus since the late 1960s and is associated especially with the Faculty of History at the University of Cambridge, where until recently such scholars as John Dunn and Quentin Skinner studied European political thought in its historical context, emphasizing the emergence and development of such concepts as the state and freedom.

In consequence, the Centre for Juridical Research of the Faculty of Law has made significant contributions towards the Penal Procedures Reform which is being implemented throughout the country ; whilst two other Centres belonging to the Faculty of Humanities and Education ( Cognitive Development Centre ) and the Faculty of Communication and Letters ( Journalism and Advertising Research Centre, CIPP ) are implementing programmes of public interest in the areas of cognitive development, community strengthening and the role of the communications media in society.
