Urban Trad is a Belgian folk music group, consisting of both Flemish and French speaking people and a close connection with Galicia.

Urban Trad participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2003, where they ended second with the song " Sanomi ", a modern folk song with vocals in an imaginary language.

Laïs ' career started in 1994, when Jorunn and Annelies, together with Soetkin Collier ( who later became a vocalist with the Belgian folk music group Urban Trad ), performed a song at a folk festival in Gooik, near Brussels.

Notable in the late ' 80s were All Star Fresh of King Bee topping charts with: " Back by Dope Demand " in early 1990 and Rudeboy of Urban Dance Squad who, at the time, were arguably more widely known in New York City than the Netherlands.

Urban VIII sent him to accompany his nephew, Francesco Barberini, whom he had accredited as nuncio, first in France and then in Spain, where Pamphilj had the first-hand opportunities to form an intense animosity towards the Barberini.

About 1382 he headed an embassy from his university to Urban VI, before whom he delivered a dissertation in favour of reform.

He later studied in Berlin with Heinrich Urban, for whom he dedicated his Serenade for Strings which he composed and performed when he was still Urban's student.
